Actually it kind of reminds me of the GET A MAC adds where if you were 'cool' you get a Mac and if you are not, well....you know the rest.
SJ was a great business man and visionary but he was not a god. And how he used his marketing skills is the stuffs of legends so he is fair game. Microsoft is in a full spin-out and they are trying anything they can to resonate with new customers. From a marketing perspective, I get it. But I'm not sure new customers will.
BTW, the iphone 5C and S and the announcements this week, in general, were, weak. Colored phones is innovative? Wow! How far APPLE has fallen. So Apple has brought this upon themselves.
Apple design head Jony Ive even says, "The iPhone 5C is beautifully, unapologetically plastic."
Incredible statement.
