That all depends, which Shuffle? The current one would fail, for it has no directly mounted controls, thereby crushing its hopes of world domination.
It's the original Shuffle, the white plastic one. I was thinking it could do the Empire Strikes Back thing. It could toss the earbud cable around the upper part of the iMac's stand, then climb up and throw something explosive in through the RAM door, then run back and hide behind something and watch as the iMac goes down like an AT-AT walker.
Need more information..... are we talking the old build like a truck keyboards or the new metal jobbies? If old school keyboard, put me down for a £10 on that one....it will cream the others!!!! fight fight....
Two metal ones (wired and wireless), plus the previous gen with white keys and clear plastic base. The wireless metal one is obviously the smallest, but it has a secret weapon: The cannon-shaped tube, from which it could fire the three AA batteries and do some serious damage.

Abso-friggin-lutely then. The original can and will slay an iMac.

Contact Us. Link provided on most pages at Apple.com. Then check out the Feedback section in the right-hand column. That wasn't so hard, was it?

Yeah, too bad most people here use the forum as a means to complain, instead of the contact form on Apple's site. :D

If I am really peeved off, the last thing I am going to do is fill in a feedback web form.

How unfortunate, seeing as it would be a hell of a lot more constructive than just being pissed off.

True, but it's probably at least 5% more effective than complaining here.

lol, I know.

I have only complained once and since it was not website related the feedback section was useless to me. I just e-mailed Apple Europe and they were awesome in dealing with my issue. Had the manager in my local store call me the very next day.

Oh I dunno... which do you think is more effective, slipping a note into the suggestion box or ranting at the boss in front of all of your co-workers?
The latter is not only the more effective way to get you fired, it's also the most effective way to put some pressure on the boss. If you trash-talk Apple in plain view, it's gotta hurt ten times more than if you just send your complaints straight into a black hole where they magically disappear forever.

Yes, because apple constantly monitors these forums in an effort to see what its customers want......

It's only effective if your boss is actually standing there.

well the feedback section is related to the website. There is no complaints catergory. My issue was related to the Apple Store in my local area

You asked for an obvious outlet to complain to Apple directly and I gave you one. In fact there are numerous outlets on that contact page. What the h*ll is your issue?

Assuming he gave a damn what one person thinks.

True.

So from these analogies we've learned that:

A. Apple has to be actually monitoring these forums to see complaints, and
B. They have to actually care.

No, and......No.

Yes, because apple constantly monitors these forums in an effort to see what its customers want......
I don't think Steve Jobs hangs out all day here and reads each post with unbridled fascination, no. But the idea of none of Apple's 20,000 employees ever stopping by one of the biggest Mac community sites is a little far-fetched, especially given that it takes around 3 seconds for them to spot an unwanted picture or piece of info and ask for it to be taken down.

And they care so whole heartedly about the extreme minority because?....

I was trying to be subtle. But let me explain.

I was trying to say that there is no direct Complaint section on the website.

Yes, you did send me a link to contact page. Thank you.

Now if you READ the contact page you will see that the feedback is for the website. Why do i know this, cause it has a huge heading saying Website feedback.

So which of these numerous outlets would you recommend I choose if i had a complaint?

Is it
Product Purchasing & Inquiries?
Sales Support?
Technical Support?
North American Corporate Contacts?
It must be website feedback..... cause my complaint had nothing to do with the website...

And they care so whole heartedly about the extreme minority because?....
Oh, they have to care, too? Can't help you there. I tried to think of any aspects of their products that were based on customer feedback, but then I saw the new iPod Shuffle and realized that they're probably getting their ideas from stuff they smoke.

So the natural response would be to complain here in hopes apple will see?

If something bothers you so much why dont u give them a call?

Yes PC's can't run OSX, if you want to hack it and put it on it, that is your business, some of us don't have the time for that. Show me any ways I can go to hp.com or dell.com and order a machine with OSX.

do you not read? it is already stated why OSX won't run on PCs on the post you quoted.

say it like it is. OSX does not run on pc's. NOT "pc's can't run os x". really, it doesn't take too much intelligence to understand the difference between the two senteces.

try it. i'm confident you are very capable.

...because they're saying the things that many, many more are thinking.

WHERE'S THE QUAD-CORE MINI-TOWER, TIM !?!?!?

Right, its obvious that apples customer base is extemely pissed about no mini tower like every other computer company out there. So pissed in fact that no one is even stepping into apple stores and buying any products....

I actually blame that one on Steve Jobs being missing in action. Had he been around I am certain he would have pulled that. Maybe the shuffle should come with some "free samples" to appreciate it...
