And with just one keynote Microsoft seems to be a decade ahead of apple... seriously, I am stunned at what they showed off today!
The SP4 looks impressive. I wonder of the new typepad keyboard will be compatible with the SP3

I know I certainly wouldn't use it for the tablet feature. Win10, while I personally love it, feels clunky as a tablet OS.So Surface book has laptop performance only with the keyboard attached ?! no thank you, the gap and the closing mechanism still aren't perfect. If you want a laptop you will buy a macbook pro, or for gamers an alieware for that price, if you want a tablet you buy an ipad air/pro, if you want a hybrid buy the surface pro 4
So the idea of Surface book is dead from the start
I'm speechless.YAWN, seriously they ape'd the macbook pro so close then totally ruined it with that awful hinge and hinge gap!
Hyperbole much? And with just one keynote Microsoft seems to be a decade ahead of apple... seriously, I am stunned at what they showed off today!
Hahaha, wow, the video they made (here on YT):
... is so Apple-like, I seriously kept expecting to hear Jony Ive chime in - in fact, do a little SJI in your head while you're watching, it's _super_ fun![]()
Surface 3 is a HIT, and was imitated by many... iPad Pro anyone? Apple Pen? Apple Smart Keyboard?YAWN, seriously they ape'd the macbook pro so close then totally ruined it with that awful hinge and hinge gap! The major downside of all this MS tech is windows, which stinks so bad, especially on a phone. They really are gonna feel so much pain on all these products as they fail to sell in any meaningful numbers at any meaningful prices. MS should just sell office and be done with it.

Seems to me the Surfaces, Pro 4 and Book, will cater to opposite ends of the spectrum. The Pro 4 would be for the person who prefers a tablet and wants an occasional laptop. The Book would be for the person who primarily wants a laptop and an occasional tablet. Personally, the Book is really appealing but I know my wife will veto it. I've spent a few too many bucks on myself recently.I'm not a fan of that laptop design. And why two devices? I thought Surface was all about one device that could be everything?
The Surface Book looks great, only problem is... it runs Windows..
