Zoom > teams with the exception that zoom does not let you copy text from the chat by default. I read online it’s a setting but only accessible by logging into a web browser that literally no one knows about.

Hmmm weird. I feel like everyone is saying audio is still Intel but I grabbed continuous build from August 3rd and now my M1 Mac only has two Intel processes. ipcserver (steam) and CarbonComponentScannerXPC (rosetta 2). Everything else including Teams and its audio says its Apple.
Second that. All processes on my M1 Pro MBP 16' are Apple Silcon. No Intel at all.

I'm running August 3rd continuous build (1.5.00.21561) and it still has the Intel audio driver
Did you check the "Teams Audio Driver" in the installer window?

For those wanting it now, you can change to the preview build in Teams (in the about section). It’ll take about 10 mins to download and transition. Perfect for those that don’t want to download a file from a website and reinstall it manually.

Been using it for a few weeks. Works like a champ!
Can you confirm that puts you at v20352? How do you do it?

Not sure. I'm already on 20858. That's probably what it will put you on.

3 dots in the top right corner -> About -> Developer preview

EDIT: my MacBook Air M1 was on 20352 when I checked for updates just now. It updated to 21565 when I checked. I believe you'll get 20858 or 21565 when you enable developer previews.

Companies use Teams because it comes along with Office. No one would ever compare Teams against Slack and decide to use Teams.
So can you point me to where I can see how Slack supports video conferencing as I couldn't find it on their site?

For all the Teams haters, I haven't had any problem with it. It's better now that it's native to AS. I use it for work purposes only. It's not like I enjoy using it. It's not a video game that I want to spend a lot of time in. It gets the job done for my health system.

I am also having the same problem.

CoreAudio still shows up as Intel despite upgrading the audio driver.
How do you update the audio driver specifically? Everyone I've seen post on her running Universal Teams is also posting that the CoreAudio driver is still Intel. Sometime may have changed with a recent version though.

It’s hard to be excited about Microsoft Teams’s poor design running its flawed algorithms slightly faster; the experience is guaranteed to be just as horrid. I hope that it is outlawed. Sincerely.
