Of course. It's the best looking band imo. Mesh bands are not a feminine band.

For 150, so that brings the price up to the standard model.

aluminum 42 (standard rubber band)= 399 + 149 (milanese) = 548 + tax

stainless steel 42 with milanese loop = 699 + tax

paying 548 + tax will give you the basic apple watch with two bands (milanese + rubber band).

paying the stainless steel setup with the milanese you will pay 699 + tax. this gives you only the milanese loop, no extra band.

so basically for 150 more you can get the upgraded setup, except no extra band. although if you wanted the band, you can pay 49 for it. LOL.

I'm a man and I like the SS Black Link and the Milanese. I am leaning towards the Milanese though for a couple reasons. I believe the mesh type weave will be breathable and therefore more comfortable when worn all day. That being said what I really like though is the infinite type of fit it will provide, yes the SS link will provide a great fit I'm sure but the Milanese will provide a precise fit.

That was definitely my favorite one of the "ooh, shiny" models. But I likely won't get that one, at least the Apple version, because there's no way I could talk myself into the stainless steel model. I'm no fashionista, and the aluminum one looks fancy enough for me. If Tim Cook rocks his with a white band, that's good enough for me.

Space Grey and Milanese Loop?

What do you think of the look of Space Grey and the Milanese Loop? I'd get the Space Grey sport version first and perhaps later get the Milanese Loop to dress it up. Would the steel color and Space Grey clash or complement, in your opinion?

I think the 38mm shape looks better, but I like the extra battery power of the 42mm. For a small to medium size man's wrist, do you think 42 mm is the "correct" size and that 38mm is mostly for women?

On that mixyourwatch site, I was surprised how many of the bands looked ok with the space gray. All the leather loop bands looked fine, the Milanese looked classy, and all the rubber bands of course looked fine if you like those. The ones that didn't look that great with it were the modern buckles ( I guess because of the large shiny buckle didn't match well), and the classic buckle.

It certainly isn't ideal to have highly polished steel attached to matte aluminum, but I personally don't dislike the combination. I've been eyeing the space grey sport + classic leather buckle, myself.

Go check them out on April 10 and decide for yourself!

You won't really know how well they'll match until you see it in person, different lighting conditions will affect how they look. You're just looking at renders on a webpage so it will be hard to tell if they really do match.

I think it looks great.

But I also have a zinc allergy and so it'd probably be hell on my wrist lol.

At first I thought that Yes I liked the Milanese loop. However, I just got a much better look at it watching one of the hands on demos and decided I don't really like it for my fairly big hands. I like big and chunky so SS Link it is! I also just know I will be knocking that magnet off a lot.

Sport plus milanese loop is my plan. I little disappointed it's $150, but I thought it was going to be the most expensive band. The last milanese band I bought was a Hadley-Roma for $50, but it also won't fold over itself like the apple strap.

Exact combination I am thinking about getting. Have the Space Grey Aluminum with the black band for day-to-day use and the Milanese loop for when I need something more 'professional'.

Yep, exact same idea here. Problem is, as has already been said, it doesn't look like Apple will let us buy the watch sport silver aluminum case with the black sport band.

It's interesting, the silver stainless steel case is shown with the black sports band, yet the silver watch sport is not. The casings are very similar in color, except one is shiny, and one is not. So it makes me wonder why Apple didn't make the black sports band available to purchase with the silver sports watch, with it being a sports watch and sports band combo, but thought it was fine to make that same combo with the silver stainless steel case?

Guys I found this picture on Instagram of this man who tried on the Apple Watch Sport with a Milanese loop and It lols really really good!

To each there own I guess. I think that looks terrible, and in general I just don't like the matte look of the sport model.

Do you like the combo? And how do you know he is wearing it wrong?

Well I thought this thread was specifically for the silver version of the Sport + Milanese (post #1), not the Space Gray + Milanese. He's wearing it wrong because the folded over portion is supposed to be on the bottom.

That's right. I'll mostly buy sport but white aluminum.
