UPDATE:
So I actually got a third party one from Amazon and I LOVE IT!

I don't know if this one is thicker than the Apple one but it is not feminine at all. Here's a few pics.

Could you provide some search details on the band so I can find it on amazon? Would really like to pick it up, but there are just way to many flooding amazon.

Thanks

Totally agree. When it was announced, it looked cool to me, but in person I find it way too girly. Sorry guys ;)

Men's Skagen watches aren't the least bit feminine, and they are made from the same material. I think that is an absurd statement. If you don't like it, don't get one. But don't push your weird issues on everyone else.

So since I first saw the Milanese Loop at the announcement I always wanted it... Until today.

Today at work somebody got in the elevator and he had an Apple Watch with it.. I was shocked at how feminine it looked. This was my first time seeing it in person and while it was a sort of short time I still got to see it and I just thought it would look different.

Anybody felt the same way? I still want to have it in my hands to see if I still want it or not.
I am very masculine. I like the Milanese loop. It most definitely enhances my masculinity. You don't even know me and you are saying I'm feminine?

The point being that everyone perceives things differently. To even discuss the "masculinity" versus "femininity" of this particular loop is really absurd IMHO. There is absolutely no answer, so why even bring it up? Just to argue? Seems that way. It's time like these that I wish this forum software had an ignore feature.

Ugh. You guys are the worst. I am a gay man. The Milanese loop looks feminine TO ME like I stated in my original post. If you like it, GO FOR IT. I came to these FORUMS looking for opinions, which is what I thought you're supposed to do. Geeeeez!

Having seen it in the flesh and tried it on I don't think it's feminine at all, nor do I think it's especially masculine either. I think it's a good, well balanced unisex strap.

It looks good, feels good on and has a definite air of quality, that's all that matters.

Ive ordered one, partly for looks, mainly for another reason. But I've never much cared what other people think anyway, if I'm happy I'll wear what I like.
I'm a Scottish man, we wear a skirt in public and care not a jot ;)

Honestly the femininity of the milanese depends on the wearer. I personally own a milanese and people agree that I can pull it off as a guy without it looking girl. However, when I went to try on watches with my father for Father's Day he couldn't pull it off as much as he enjoyed the comfort.

Comfort or no comfort, your dad not pulling it off when you're there is a good thing, no?

Just couldn't resist :D

Well I don't know if my hairy arms make me manly or sasquatchy but my band should be in next week.

What does that mean? He suddenly looked like a girl?

Why would it be a good thing?
No, he doesn't look like a girl, it just didn't look good on him. Like any watch or jewelry, some items look better on others. It's really not all that complicated. So instead he got the link bracelet.
