Oh Yeeeeaaaahhhhh Go Twins!!! Awesome!!!!!

yes I'm very aware (though I do think the Twins are capable of taking this) that the Yankees will most likely roll. But considering the Twins were 7 games out a month ago. This is amazing. Incredible.

Also, the home plate ump was horrible. Inge was totally grazed by that pitch with the bases loaded. But, Granderson should of been called out on strikes in the 3rd inning and that led to 3 runs.

Disappointed it wasn't a 15 inning smackdown. :( :) (That's OK, if Twins-Yankees goes 5 games, perhaps we can try for that in Game 5.)

Well, Twins, close out the Yankees. I have a sentimental fondness for the great phrase: "It's October and Yankee Stadium is closed for the year?!" :D

Demo has begun. :(

It officially begins, first game Phillies Rockies.

Wow... and how! Phils chased Ubaldo Jimenez: 5 runs on only 9 hits?! Currently 5-0 Phils, bottom 8th.

EDIT: 5-1 Phils as the final score. Cliff Lee pitched the whole game; pitch count of 113. Wondered if he was starting to tire because the only Rockies run came off a wild pitch.

Well, at least the Phils didn't have to worry about their bullpen issues this game. :)

I just find it hilarious that nobody knows who the hell the Twins' starting pitcher is. He is doing a decent job. Keep it up Duensing.

There was an article somewhere today somewhere asking if anyone could name a single player from the 2009 Mets to prove their worth as a Mets fan? Sadly, the article pointed out that quite a few self-identified younger Mets fans of today couldn't even name ONE player.

I thought hard and long, and the best answer I could come up with was Mookie Wilson. FAIL. :D Guess I don't rate as a Mets fan, eh? :p (Go, Phillies and Red Sox!)
