Home team hasn't been able to win a game this series. Maybe home advantage is overrated.

Cant win a championship if you can't win at home. Congrats to the Nationals. Few days ago I thought the Astros were def going to take it.

25 years after baseball screwed the Expos out of a World Series the franchise wins it all.

Congrats to the Nats for winning it all, they were always considered the underdog and were always looked down. I wonder if Bryce Harper is wishing he took that offer from the nats

Congrats to the Nationals! So weird that the home team never won a game in the Series. I wonder if that has ever happened before.

Somehow I feel like Harper was the one holding the team back.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s never happened. You would’ve thought it happened at least once.

I don't find that one difficult to believe at all. The stats overwhelmingly favor the Home Team.
I think a team has recovered from a 3-0 deficit to win only once, for example.

But, they can break down stats to miniscule details and come up with a "first time ever" event in just about any game.
