For a while it looked like Home Run Derby--by one team.
Getting No-hitted in the World Series... Not good. Hopefully they bounce back tonight.
Difficult for the Phillies now, having to win to force a game 7. Astro’s have two chances at home to close out the series and have the momentum as well.
Congrats to the Astros. I really wasn't invested in this series, though I was hoping that the Phillies would pull it off. They made it competitive to be sure, but sadly came up short.
Its funny, I had an old friend offer this advise, when I was a young and impressionable pup: Regardless if your team wins or loses, you still have to wake up and go to work, while they go off to play golf. Since then I root for my teams but won't get so emotionally invested or lose crazy sleep because their success is not my success, their failure is not my failure.

Agreed. Was rooting for the Phillies, but wasn’t completely invested in them. Actually, I didn’t watch any of the World Series.
Neither did I, come to think of it. I just watched the highlights vid on the day that the Phillies did their 5 HR show piece, for the rest looking at the box scores was as far as I got. Two good teams hammering away, but really not that interesting. Think my interest in baseball is waning…
Houston's GM got a pathetic 1 year offer after building a world series team. Now he's out.
Yeah, that's pretty insulting. Two pennants and a WS title since taking over for Luhnow in 2020, and that's their offer? I would have walked too. Somebody else will gladly pay him.
