The Mariners are going to the World Series.

They are the only team that hasn't been to the World Series.

I gotta say be kinda neat if they did make it. I'm not a fan of their current kits though. lol.

Bring these back

What happened to the Orioles this year? Their trajectory of the last two, had them just missing out in the playoffs last season.

Their pitching hasn't been that good, and their young guns haven't been hitting as much. I also think the competition in the AL East has heated up. Yankees, Toronto, Bos, and even Tampa have been playing better baseball.

I guess when you nail it down, they are the two factors which influence how a team performs. Toronto do look quite strong this year, and the Yankees, like last year had a lull midseason, and then hit their straps.

tbh, for the Yankees, they have the wrong manager. This saying comes to mind:Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

Boone has been running the show since 2018, they've had the most potent lineup for years and at times a good pitching lineup yet year in and year out they fade in late summer and make stupid mistakes in the playoffs. They've been giving Boone more chances then they gave Girardi who won the world series and fired him after losing the ALCS

As Englishman, that doesn't live in New York, but Australia, I have a chequered history with MLB, and am slowly learning its nuances. Is the term manager, the same as coach, and this person responsible for tactics, gameplay, or just the admin said of the team.

Your avatar has a yankees hat on, so I thought you were a yankees fan
Whilst I know that they are a well supported team, but if you visited my city, you'd think it was there home base. 😉 As a casual ball cap to wear, the NYY design is hard to beat. Sadly the Orioles caps are hard to find here, and quite 'loud'.

Yes, I just had a look at the baseball standings for the first time in months (I’ve been busy with my father’s passing away) and was amazed to see TOR at the top of the AL East, with BOS above NYY in the wildcard spots.

Edit:
As someone who was born in Boston and lives there, I've been genetically altered to hate the yankees, with that said, I do like the Orioles, I have a soft spot for small market teams, be it Milwaukee, detroit or Baltimore. These are the teams that try year in and year out. They're always the underdogs compared to the high paying teams like the yankees, redsox, dodgers. The latter basically bought their world series.
