MobileMe Finally Online?

Is there anyone who still believes that mobileme will function in full tomorrow?

I'm starting to have my doubts. But we'll see.

Im little worried now. I feel bad that Apple is going through all this and making us wait. I guess they did not expect so many users downloading pre-released iPhone software 2.0 and making Push go crazy.

I hope by 8am its all will be fixed and we'll see a letter from Steve saying that Apple apologizes.

Incorrect. If I lease a Fiat Uno and the lease company takes it away from me and gives me an Enzo Ferrari for the same price, they have given me something. Similarly, Apple gave .mac users MobileMe and took away .mac.

That is how the English word "give" is used.

It also happens that MobileMe includes more storage and other stuff, so to .mac subscribers the upgrade is essentially a free gift.

The problem with this analogy is instead of getting a Ferrari, he dropped off the Fiat and is stranded alongside the road waiting for the Ferrari. If stranded I would prefer a Fiat to nothing at all.

I have loved Apple stuff since I was 5! Our school had its first IIe that we learned on.

Ever since then Apple has been special to me - and it will take a lot more than this to upset me. They still make superior products and are great to deal with - my own opinion.

On the other hand, yes this is inconvenient and I use my .Mac for my small business so it's been a pain, but nothing I haven't been able to deal with.

But I still love Apple!
