it's working... and somewhat snappy!

i do have a question about how to utilize 2 email accounts and the whole push thing. i use a .mac... er um, .me email account, plus a pop email account for work in Mail. Will both of those accounts push to the iPhone i'm buying tomorrow, or do i have to do something different with my pop account? i don't have my online mobileme account set up to check it - only my Mail app.

Any clue about how that works?

lest refrain from saying it's working perfectly! if you can't sync your info from your mac then it's still not working...lets be clear when we post, just write that you can log on and click the different icons...working perfectly means is syncing with all your info on a mac, iphone, etc

Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Gallery, iDisk and Account. It's all synced to my Mac. iPhone/iPod Touch won't push, since it requires Software update to 2.0, which is not available yet.

Go to your old .Mac on System Pref and try to Sync it. That's how I got mine.

I'm signed out. It tells me that my info is invalid. Same as yesterday. Stupid if you ask me. But at least the web thing works.

Any bets on how long it will stay up?

It is working for me :)

See http://www.tuaw.com/2008/07/10/apple-releases-os-x-mobileme-update/

To get the mobileme update (may require restart)

Jesus people, you scream and yell cause you have nothing, once you get something, you scream and yell cause its not fast enough. Sometimes you can't please ANYONE!

Working for me. Damn, it's beautiful, but tragically, quite slow right now.

But still - when I go into the MobileMe preferences pane and try to "sign in" it tells me I have an invalid username and password. The same username and password that successfully signed me in to the web instance of MobileMe.

Strange.

I'm not an IT guy, but I guess if me.com will replace .mac, you just can't make the migration without putting .mac down. Same way you can't move from A to B without leaving A. That's just common sense.

Some downtime is expected, but once it was clear there were problems they should have gone to the rollback plan which they apparently didn't have. You always have a plan to roll back when doing major upgrades.

But it's all good now.

Edit: Or not all good. MobileMe or .Mac. I don't care which, but one has to be available tomorrow.

Nothing is clickable

The interface loads. I just can't click anything. Throughout day I had noticed other users experienced this. I would say things are moving slow, but the app isn't processing anything.

Down again.

They must still be working on either a router or some sort of server that handles those requests from a mac system rather then the web login.....

System Prefs isn't working because it's trying to get to the HTTPS site from mac.com (do a netstat).
