why should we have to pay for 3 days of our .mac subscription if we cant use it
Because is $99/year which is $0.27/day or $0.82 for 3 days. For what services are provided, $99/year is a great deal. Furthermore, read the terms and conditions.

You'll probably get a couple of days credit. That's what Blizzard does when WoW keeps going down.
On the other hand Apple could be like MS is with XBox Live and tell you to get lost.
First time SYSTEM PREFERENCES let me log in was JUST NOW.
Syncing everything...we'll see...

how long should it take for Push to .... push?
i changed a contact in my iPod Touch and then expected to see Address Book be updated and it wasn't and still isnt 15 minutes later. is there something i have to do or what? it worked when i added something to my address book and then ended up on my iPod contacts. kinda inconsistent or something.

Does anyone know what is the reliability of the 20GB of storage included in MobileMe (either by experience with .Mac or by knowing how Apple stores the data)... anyone ever lost their files in their iDisks? I am trying to assess if it is a good place to store my most important stuff in case of a major disaster
I would 'think' it would be pretty darn reliable.
