Dear Apple,
You know how Microsoft, Google, etc all do limited then wide public betas on most of their services before rolling them out to the world? There's a reason for that. If this is "Exchange for the rest of us", then I'll take Exchange.
Also, status messages/bug reports: Perhaps it works to keep the average consumer in the dark and avoid a log that indicates no-one's perfect, but enterprise IT guys will just laugh at you if you have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy about problems. This applies in general, not just to MobileMe.
This'd've made a fairly nifty home office tool, too, where people can't afford guaranteed uptime so go on reputation. Perhaps in a year's time, Apple?
