Why r sum people so demanding. got the case yesterday. Worth the 84 $

Quick question here. I've just received my Juice pack for iPhone 4 by mail. However, I have not received my iPhone 4 yet. I currently am using a 3GS, are they compatible? Can I use it on my 3GS first?

Shape wise I know they're different. How about the voltage, current and such? I want to be absolutely sure that neither my 3GS or juice pack gets any damage due to incorrect voltages etc when I try it.

Thanks a lot.

Pretty sure it won't fit.

Got my mophie today for my iPhone 4. It looks really nice in real life, wasn't a fan of it from pictures.

I also ordered the QYG battery case, but it is taking forever to get here.

i would like to see someone review the mophie, exolife, and mili. ( i know this is probably asking a lot because this can easily run upwards of 300 bucks for the three cases alone and most of just spent that on our dandy iphones!)
i know there are individual threads about the exolife and mili but it would be great to get a side by side comparison of each one. such as the mophie and exolife having a 1500 mAh capacity and the mili having 1600, yet the mili does not fully charge the iphone while some are saying that the mophie will charge the iphone to full even though it has less MAh than the mili. weird i know.

on a side note, amazon has listed a battery case by UNU that has a 1700 mAh capacity:http://www.amazon.com/uNu-PowerDX-1700mAh-External-Battery/dp/B00409E4JK/ref=pd_cp_cps_2. it is noticeably bulkier than any of the three listed above and more squared but still looks decent enough to resemble a case? maybe?

p.s. i just got my exolife shipped and will have it by friday! i chose to go with it because i like the design better(although there probably is flash problems with pics cuz of the gloss) and am banking on it having no heating issues!

MiLi now has a 300mAh battery upgrade called Power Pack 4 for iPhone 4 claims to charge your iPhone 4 more than full.

I just ordered one from eBay and can't wait for mine to arrive!

Overall, I have a MiLi Power Spring 3 for my 3g and I like it very much. The product is solid. But too bad there is only ON switch and no OFF switch for the charge tho, if MiLi fix that, I will give it a 100% satisfied rate. ^^

I'll stick with the Case-Mate Fuel Max Battery case.

I have to disagree with the post about the Mophie being bulky, I think its the slimmest one out there, certainly the best looking.

I tried the exogear and while it's a good design the time it takes to get it on and off Is just unbearable. You have to find a coin to pry the lip up and wrestle with it. The mophie is a real piece of cake, slides right out on this days I don't need the extra power, but its a great good looking case that protects the phone anyway and solves any reception problems as well.

As far as the top sliding off mentioned by another poster, I had that problem as well, was driving me crazy so I sent them an email, and within days got a new top, and it's snug as a bug now. Having problems let them know for crying out loud, they do have the very best customer service out there!

Also these Mophie juice paks will not be available through the Apple stores probably ever, according to reports I have read.

That goes for all battery type slide on paks as most of you probably know.

Apple has deemed fit to ban them because they think their is a problem with accumulation of dust under the case getting into the unit, what a crock, if their design is that susceptible to dust then they should have sealed the glass better! Not making them available to their customers is truly unfortunate for both the consumers who want them and the manufactures of these products, most of them were all approved Apple products before this slight on Apple's part! Can be very dicy doing business with the big A, I must say!

None the less those that need the extra power will seek out those products so Im sure it will all work out in the end.

Got my white mophie. Looks great but already having the loose top issue and I only took it off once. Also I got the white one and it is a little slippery. Apparently the black one is a soft-touch but the white one is glossy. Will try for a few days but probably will return due to the top. I take my iphone in and out of my jeans often and I anticipate it will be a problem.

I'm eyeballing this case as a possible Xmas gift to myself. My Incase Smoke (free thru the case program) has developed cracks around both top edges which really sucks considering its never been dropped or anything.

Anyhow, I'm just concerned with how much size it adds to the phone. I've been really happy with the feel of the Incase smoke, and Im not fond of the larger/bulkier cases (like the Otterbox).

I just got the "PLUS" version today. I'm satisfied with my purchace for the most part.

Only bad thing is, it causes flash wash.

That's odd, I find Glossy finishes are tackier and soft-touch slip.

With the "PLUS" version, just about doubles the thickness of the iP4. No Big whoop for me.

The Regular version maybe increase the thickness by 50-75%.

JPA Just Arrived - Initial Impressions

Just received my JPA from Amazon. Obviously haven't had anytime to see how it works out, but here's some initial impressions and/or reactions to claims in this thread or elsewhere.

Look & Feel
First off, the case itself does feel a little plasticky, particularly the sides. However once you put it on the phone you don't notice it as much. I certainly wouldn't want to drop it on concrete though. Phone would most likely fare well, but doubtful the case would survive without some damage. There is also a slight gap on the sides where the top/bottom halves meet. Aside from that it looks great and the back has a satin feel to it which is nice.

Battery Controls & Phone Control Access
The controls for the battery work great. I like the recessed on/off switch for the battery and the charge indicator works as you'd expect. One thing I'd like to point out: I read one review that pegged the charging lights on the case as being overly bright and problematic at night (if charging while sleeping). Perhaps they've changed the brightness of the LEDs, but I can't imagine these lights causing problems unless you sleep with the phone on your chest or perhaps next to your pillow. If it is on your nightstand it should be fine.

With the case on, the phone's controls are another story. The sleep/lock button is least affected and doesn't bother me. The mute switch isn't too bad, but you will need to use the edge of a finger to manipulate it. The volume button access is my biggest beef. You cannot push these without using the edge/tip of your finger. Unlike with the mute switch, I think most folks typically control the volume buttons with the pad of the thumb (while cradling the phone - a one handed operation) and this is absolutely not possible with the JPA. It takes both hands now: one to hold the phone and the other to push the buttons. Not a deal breaker for me and maybe not for most, but may be a major annoyance for many.

Syncing
The phone syncs with zero issues via the case's mini jack. No problems here as others have reported.

Sound Ports/Speaker Volume
These seem to work as advertised. They direct the sound towards you as you're looking at the screen. This is nice as the last few days I've been laying in bed watching some Netflix and I needed to cup my hand to get the sound directed at me. I haven't made any calls with it, but I assume that the microphone port doesn't hinder clarity.

Size/Bulk
This case (of course) adds some length and thickness to the device, but it doesn't do so in a bad way. It feels well balanced in your hand and the weight increase IMO is marginal. The case/phone combo maybe weighs roughly what my old Treo 650 did. I will say that I would not want the phone much larger so I am glad I opted for the Air over the Plus.

Note for Incase Case owners: The plastic stand which comes with some of the Incase products will not hold a phone clad in JPA attire. I mention this only because I was secretly hoping it would but no such luck. :(

Thats about it for now. Will report back after putting this thing to use in the real world!

**EDIT TO ADD:
Camera Flash Wash
Sorry to report that I just tested the flash and it does in fact wash into the photos in both portrait & landscape modes. :( Thats a bummer, but since I don't take many photos to begin with and this won't be my only case I can live with it.

Aren't the Air and the Plus virtually the same size?

air:product Dimensions: 5.07 in x 2.51 in x 0.68 in; 2.5 oz
plus:product Dimensions: 5.10 in x 2.57 in x 0.71 in; 2.5 oz

I am happy to report that I contacted Mophie over the weekend (the same night I received the case) about the flash wash and they are sending me a replacement top (assuming its a redesign)! :)

Great service!

I just ordered the plus yesterday on Amazon. Kinda like the side buttons better than the air and 33% more battery is always welcomed. I was at a seminar and did some web surfing over Edge, dimmed the screen brightness, killed alot of apps in multitasking, but still in the end I was only able to get about 5 hours on my iPhone 4. (3 hours of reading reviews of battery pack options). We'll see how the plus can help during my upcoming training.
