The Apple Store Order Status is down. I tried to check the status of my Macbook Air exchange, and I got the message. This means the store should be next. I hope all the Macbook Pro people get what they want tomorrow. They have been waiting a while, but not as long as the Mac Pro people though;).

Thus it begins.

I'm not sure about all of your Circuit Cities, but my local one (Utica, NY) uses a checkout "program" VERY similar to the picture shown with the order.

PS My apple store is still up...

this is better than Hollywood movie.
hope tomorrow morning is the finale. ;)

Show the poor thing some love. At least give it a proper burial.

Actually, to be completely honest, I'm going to do something even worse to it: I'll be making it serve me until death do us part. It will live at another location so that I'll always have something there to use without any schlepping necessary.

The very fact that this PB G4 667 is still chugging along makes me all the more loyal to Apple, even when this delay in a true MBP update has actually made me curious about PC options.

Now this is a random "possibility" that I'm sure will be pointed out as impossible immediately, is there a chance of a SSD drive for the Macbook or MBP? They're both thicker than the MBA so maybe a bigger drive capacity?

I bought a 2.2GHz MBP, few weeks ago. I was aware of the upcoming updates but hey, this is a wonderful machine! I added 4GB of ram, I am going to install a new higher capacity Hard Drive: default HDD = 120GB = 87GB free space! = rip off, new HDD will be somewhere along the lines of 250 - 320GB. I might put windows on this baby, haven't decided, but I am looking forward to ripping DVD's to the new hard drive using handbrake (is so slowwww). I will probably end up selling this machine when I see an appropriate update that pleases me. Or until this craps out on me, but until that time I will continue to enjoy my MBP. (Plus I got it on sale: 200 bucks off!).:D

That's great the first few one or two got a laugh, the next one or two a smile, but now it's played out. ;]
