a Little random i know.... Does anyone know the closest Apple store near the White House in Washington DC. I am flying there today.

Thanks

If you fly into National airport, take the metro to Pentagon City, there is one on the 3rd floor of the mall there.

From Dulles, probably the Tyson's Corner mall location.

Hey, I'm trying to follow all the comments through iphone but you're posting little freaks! It's hard to follow this forum.

I'm hopping for a Mbp but don't have faith anymore considering the latest news. Though I'm using Iphone in all this confusion hopping it will bring me chance.

Pentagon City, Clarendon, or Bethesda Row.

Clarendon may be closer than Pentagon City, but I am positive that the Metro goes right to Pentagon City, not so sure about Clarendon.

Strange question maybe but why do the stores go down for so long? Surely all the new content is ready, signed off and aproved on a staging server so they just need a simple switch?

i work for a company as big as apple, and when we do a web release - the site doesn't even go offline!?

Or are they just playing with us

Yes

Seemingly little difference between the middle and high end macbook pro, thinking these may be fake. Cant see the extra what $400 going on an extra 2" of screen size?

Makes the diff between MB (Black) and MBP just .1 processor which in the real world is not noticeable. Oh and graphics card

Shame - Pro used to be much better specced and worth the price - now i'm not so sure

Well I'm off to go shower. When I get back there will probably be no MBP update with my luck, though I hope otherwise.

It may be that the new MacBook will be availabe immediately and that the new MacBook Pro not? :)

If the specs for the black MacBook are true then I will be happy, because I am actually looking to buy one right now.

Macbook - 13" 2.4GHz / 2Gb / 250Gb / Super / Black

I wonder if the price point will be any cheaper...
