Ooh exciting times - the stores are down. If a new MBP comes out I might trade in my current model - only got it in October and it's in perfect condition. But, I will only do that if the new model sports a nice new keyboard, updated specs and magnetic latch...

No keynote will be given as their is no event for steve to give a keynote. store will go up and a press release will be made

About 4 months ago, and your point is? The computer is not outdated by any standards.

Don't get me wrong apple need to revise their pricing when it comes to hardware specially after the few months have gone by. this has always been my main beef with Apple. But to say that the computer is outdated in terms of hardware performance is pure BS.

Thats true. I was looking for a computer to my gf and all i can see is not many tops the Apple MBP base line.

I think Apple need to rethink their prices because laptops are getting stupid low right now.

My gf just bought a LG Core 2 Duo 2.0, 2 GB, 8400, 200GB HD for 800€ !!!

For less, i will pay for my MBP 2000€ with a lousy 120gb hard drive!

The only they can allways make that price is by getting allways the top of the line stuff, otherwise people will not buy MBP just because they are Apple, you can get a same base line spec laptop for less than 50% of the price.

I will not pay 800€ for a OS, i'm sorry...
