More Photos and Videos of Claimed Working iPhone 6 Devices Surface

Couple of things
1. The headphone socket in comparison to the iPhone 5s looks like 2.5mm instead of 3.5mm and I can't believe they'd go to that size

2. When he opens calculator (6.50) that's a different app to the current. In this version the number appear on the keys half a second after the app is open. Which isn't the case on the current app

Antenna break is beginning to be a slick style. A good design characteristic of iPhone 6 and I'm not even kidding. It improves so much from previous leaks. I'd bet in a year time there'll be many phones with similar band and people like you will come here and say oh it's from HTC, not iPhone.

No, it looks bad. That's part of the reason no-one else does it, or in the case of HTC does it better.

I don't hate Apple products, I didn't think the 5 worked as a visual design as well as the 4 and the 6 continues that trend. Those breaks don't look good except to those with poor taste or let's face reality - fanboys. Sorry dude, that's what you seem to be. They look cheap and naff.

The only reason I can see for them to look so poor is if the antenna is actually molded inside rather than them being breaks, which makes a lot of sense, separating it from the casework and also moving it further outside the phone. I think I may be giving Apple too much credit but that would actually be good, functional design. Sadly they'll probably just be over-thick breaks that look like that because they had to sit on a strong radius at the sides.

Apple is a victim of its own success. The iPhone has an iconic design and is the most recognizable phone in the world. If Apple changes the principles of this iconic design then there is danger that it would lose its high visibility. Apple doesn't want to risk that, so they iterate every other year.
It's like Mercedes. Look at their cars. Even the most modern model has a specific resemblance to older models. That's ok.

Having said that I too would like to see a new design, but I guess the time still hasn't come, because Apple apparently hasn't found anything better than the current one. Another reason is that if they change the design, then the iPhone will just be another smartphone among many.

There's been so many "leaks" that I'm pretty sure the new iPhone is gonna look something like this. Looks good IMO.

At 1:12 in the video he some how turns off the iphone screen without pressing on/off button with the appropriate system sound. Does not seem right.

fake or not but it seems like the day has come that adding just another row of apps makes it look like a very cluttered mess. like at least give us an option to place them anywhere yep just like on android.

if its fake thumb up to those guys even thinking off the exposed camera ring. also why not show off new stuff like the "health" app seen on the springboard ;)

The video shows the health app  Is just empty though.

Part of the reason apple hasn't changed the blocks at the top and bottom is because it's the iPhone's iconic look.

This is true, but then Ford cars don't all still look like the Model T do they? Iconic looks should be kept and integrated into current design language right up until the point they hold progression back... The new, larger form factor phones are reaching that point - the iPhones are getting too tall and awkward looking and it would be good to see something more progressive and innovative again, it's been a long time since the original iPhone (at least in electronics timescales) and "thinness" doesn't solve the problem of large phone with relatively small screen, especially since it's forced the camera to stick out of the back...

The overall design is terrible compared to the current iPhones, and the camera sticking out of the body is by far the stupidest thing I've ever seen on an Apple phone. If that thing is actually the iPhone 6 with its ugly design and camera sticking way out the back I'll pass. The pursuit for unnecessary thinness has made the iPhone hideous and the parts having to stick out like sore thumbs just to achieve that reduction is the dumbest design decision Apple has ever made. What an ugly POS.

I agree. I'm just stating why they're reluctant to change it. Apple doesn't usually change a design unless they come up with a superior design when they're ready.

1) is just w.out a metal ring around the outside
2) IDK, maybe because its in Chinese it can cause a delay

I'm now hoping the ridiculously thick antenna breaks are like that because they're actually moulded around the antennas themselves rather than being breaks. It would make a lot of sense to do so, both shielding the antenna and freeing it of much of the case interference.

If that's not the case, well then it's just crap design.

A wireless phone needs some sort of radio transparent window for its antennas to work. On the iPhone 5/5S, this was accomplished with two small glass panels on the back. On the iPhone 6, it looks like they managed to reduce these windows to mere slits. I think it will look much better on the black/space grey model.

Nah, that's just the chrome surround causing an optical illusion, the hole looks to be the same size...

So anything authentic would never get pulled, I don't think that's how it works.

And yet we've seen it happen year after year. Dozens of leaks and yet Apple says nothing about them. Even when they are spot on accurate.

The only time they have ever said Boo was with Gizmodo. And that was cause of the legal issues mixed into it.

They'll change it once they figure out were to put the touch ID/start button next. Just shaving down the top Bezel a third of an inch won't look good.

The calculator in that video behaves the same exact way as the calculator on iOS 8 beta 5, iPhone 5S
