God, it better not be. I just bought a pair of Bowers & Wilkins P7 to use with the iPhone 6 :(

It is like the iphone 5 prototype leak at sept 1 2012.
It also showed a working prototype on youtube.
Serach for it.
It was a rough version of the iphone 5 not refined like the retail product was.

Hey guys!

(first of all hi, this is my first post :D)

This consideration might be stupid: couldn't the phone we saw in this video and also in all the previous leaks the one which is going to take the place of the 5C?

Maybe it's the "cheap" version of the iPhone 6, made of plastic materials and a bit uglier... In that case we never saw the real iPhone 6 :)

Apple could have decided on purpose to show the cheap one and keep the real deal in secret so that it will be a big surprise at the event... No?

No. Apple decides nothing. Well, apart from some leaky leaks through their trusted collaborators. These leaks come from the production floor, and there is nothing anyone can do to stop them.

Is there even any mobile phone production facilities in the US, except for the old Nokia plant in Dallas? Didn't Motorola buy that one? Maybe they've leased it to Apple... :)
 
It does look ugly in that video, also I noted they've ditched the twin flash idea, so that must have worked well :rolleyes: I guess its a battery saving idea?
The thick bands are ugly and look cheap too and the protruding camera looks ridiculous just to make it 0.2mm thinner or whatever it is.
Nope, the iPhone 4 is still the best design IMO.

I' m so tired of people with their comments about the two tone flash.
Really you just should read!
It is 2-tone flash, just integrated into a round shape.
 
Being a consumer electronic photographer for a living, I think it's really unfair to judge the design based on a comparison between polished 3D renderings of the current iPhones and poorly lit images (from bad cameras) of the iPhone 6 parts/mockups/"fakes". It's just not fair. This, too, explains why everyone seems to hate the design of the current and former iPhones through the "leak phase" and then suddenly, after the launch event, thinks it's the "most beautiful design ever". Once you see those pitch-perfect 3D renderings and well-lit photos of the iPhone 6, you'll start to think it's gorgeous.

Too summarize, the iPhone leak images are Jony Ive's worst nightmare when it comes to showing off a new design. If crappy images of electronics from camera phones and without proper lightning was enough to show how beautiful a giving product is, I would be unemployed :)

You are right saying it is unfair. I think you are not right saying these are 3D renderings
I read before that Apple shoots a ton of pictures and combine them to the product images they have online.

I like it when fandroids use the rounded corners thingy as a reason why Apple did sue Samsung. Samsung to be honest (and I am using 2 of their products) are just as copycats as these guys with the fake iPhone 6 we are talking about in this thread.

You know what's good about this thread and the other one? Someone could even make a comic book with comments like yours or the other guys who said it's fake. I get the feeling that one group or the other is going to hide from this forum for few weeks when it's proven wrong in the embarrassed way possible!! It's going to be absolutely hilarious!!!
 
he should scratch the display, to see if this display is made of Saphir or not ;)

I have the same problem with the Galaxy S5. It takes away to much time to auto-rotate the screen another issue is when waking up the phone sometimes it does not wake up the screen (menu and back illuminates below screen) but the screen takes ages to wake. It does heat to much sometimes and the camera is away slower then on iPhone. I am not going to even start on how choppy the experience is on it. I really wanted to try different mobile OS again but guess android phones are just not for me yet. Shame because there is quite few things I like about it but I guess the problem is on the hardware side.

Try telling JFazYankees. There are just too much video proof to say it's a fake. No way GooPhone can imitate the AppStore.

Passbook and Health also previewed in my previous link but as expected, it was empty. I'm not one to believe Chinese videos but these are too strong to say fake.

Bring on the keynote, although this is what we will get.

It's the same thing with the iPhone 4 and 5 leaks, people raising hell with the cheap looking fakes and then bam it's the real thing and then it's the best design ever. I'd also bet that there's no 5.5" version, but since I already bet the farm that this is the real deal in the video, I have nothing left to wager :p
