rofl epic fail.

Phew. They kept the chrome and took a rain check on the monochrome. I knew they weren't complete idiots.
And hey, anyone who still wants the Batman/Knight Rider/Goth kid iPhone can spray paint an iPhone 3G or 3GS. An aerosol can of matte black is, what, 3 bucks?

I know the picture here is a fake. I also know the one I am posting is a fake. However, I would much rather the one pictured here than the one pictured in this thread.

This was my favorite mock-up. Reminded me of The Live 22 concept. Love the thinness. Who knows what Apple will bring to the table next year. I already can't wait. As far as this new iPhone 3G S, I will live with my current 3G till my contract runs out next August; right in time for iPhone 4th Gen crowds to be over and reviews.
Walmart has some for $0.98 actually.
That particular mockup looks really nice, but with all the stuff they've crammed into the 3GS without making it thicker than the 3G I just don't think they'd be able to make it as thin as that mockup with current technology. OLED might help a little, but they're up to 32 GB now, and people will probably expect them to hit 64 GB by the next revision, a higher res cam and possibly a flash for it, and there'll be constant demand for longer battery life, especially now that tethering has become reality. Only a garbage compactor could squeeze all that into that mockup.

this was so real and in my opinion a slight but nice design change..
Oh i forgot to add.. it was really much nicer looking than the pre this way, although i still think the current design is top notch and the best phone design out there..
