daaaaaaaaaaaamn!

that was my first thought when i saw 64gb. but then again, i've still got a 1st gen 8gb.

i'm still deciding if i like the white. the design is much better than the current one, though. glad they're getting away from that!!

none the less, i'm ready to upgrade! :D

You do realize that the "64GB" on the back was just a mock up - there is no official word on capacity for the next device and I for one doubt that there will be a 64GB model, even though I REALLY want one!

It's amazing that with all of the leaks so far, NONE have addressed capacity :(, which is the ONLY thing I care about!

I dunno - I'm not that into it. Maybe that will change, it certainly did with the iPad but I don't like the looks of the new phone.

64 gigs and faster - I love.

Higher Rez screen - def happy

Same size screen - disappointed

Design - eh, not sure yet but not a fan right now

Front facing camera - could be interesting

The multiple colors triggered a thought about getting white this time. My wife has a white 3G s. And a bunch of the transparent colored cases that look great over white. The other advantage is white doesn't seem to show the scratches as bad for those of us who run "naked".

Liking the WHITE...

Like the white iphone render...not sure if i could bite the bullet and get one over the black though... Renders are good... have seem more at http://www.amioli.com which are a 360 interactive view.... check it out people

I like that color in the render; the aluminum looks like it's painted gray, and it goes well with the white. I am afraid aluminum and white will not be too impressive in real life, though.

The design is still pretty dull looking to me overall, unfortunately. Maybe I'd like it better if I were a big fan of 1960s Braun designs, like Jonny Ives.

I like the white one. It looks more in line with something a guy would actually want to buy over the older white model.

I totally agree. This looks much more like a "Guy" white than the previous model with the rounded back for some reason. Maybe because of the flat back and simple lines? I dunno but I can see a lot of guys with this choice of color. Hope it's true! I like it!:D

Still wouldn't mind a black anodized aluminum one (igonre the one-piece volume control).
I know, keep dreaming ;)

Am I the only person thinking that a square design would be much nicer to hold. Sometimes I drop my 3g cos its so bloody slippy.

The perforations above the earpiece actually resemble the sleep indicator that's invisible on the front of the current Macbook Pro's. Could be a message indicator. But I can't say for sure.

i really like the white, the only reason i haven't been getting white in the previous iphones is because it looks weird without the front being white also.this time around it might be a more pondered decision since the white looks really nice

I'm with you on that.
It looks awesome in white.

The holes are for stereo audio when viewing a video without headphones.

That makes little sense since one speaker is already on the bottom left side.... and two speakers in the same port would have very poor stereo imaging.

I currently have a black 3G and I was excited about getting this new one in white until now!

I LOVE the white on the back, but the white front is HIDEOUS!!! That looks so freaking amateur, cheap, and ugly it is hard to describe it! It looks like some other cheap crap smartphone copycat! It is also very detracting to the UI on the screen while accentuating everything you DON'T want to accentuate like all the little camera holes and ear holes etc.

I want white back, black front like it is now but in the new design! MUCH MORE sleek, concealing of the things you want to hide, and flattering to the UI as the focus!

Yes, I know the old iMacs, MacBooks and iPods etc. etc. and I like those. But in this case it just does NOT work, PERIOD!

I really hope Apple doesn't do this!

I wonder.....

Still wouldn't mind a black anodized aluminum one (igonre the one-piece volume control).

I wonder if the Touch is going to his case design. One of the things that I don't like about my Touch 2G because of the beveled sides plugging in the sync cable can be a real pain at times, especially if you are trying to do it in the dark, or as in my case minus my glasses.:( I have a couple of docks but to use them I have to take the protective case off of my Touch.
