So I just finished installing the ClearGuard and PalmGuard and I have to say I'm impressed...
First the PalmGuard took a little precision to install but not really difficult, and it looks and feels GREAT.. it blends right in with the aluminum.
Second the ClearGuard is also pretty sweet... It takes a little used to for about 10 minutes, but then it works like a charm. The screen seems to no have any problem closing. It's very thin and sits very well on the keys.

NOTE to Radtech Screen Saverz users: The screen will not COMPLETELY close with both the cloth and the ClearGuard on.

Do you think it's as thin as the website makes it out to be? On your MBP it looks great... however on this thread I saw pics of it on a MBP but the ClearGuard didn't look clear/thin at all!
Could you please add a few pics in different angles? I'd really appreciate it.

How does the clearguard exactly work? How do the keys go "in" when you type if there's a layer on top? Is it smooth?

In that thread, the OP says that he hasn't washed his Moshi CG for about 3 months. I too am interested in the feel and the texture of the typing... I have the iSkin proTouch and it is horrible....

Yeah I know, but it just looks kind of thick! I was going to get the iSkin one but it looks way to thick!

My opinion of the iSkin is that it is way too thick and completely alters the way you type and forces you to move your fingers slower and press the middle of each key harder to get the letter to appear on the screen.

I don't think the keyguard shown in that thread is a moshi clearguard. For one, it does not have the "moshi" insignia on the space bar. There's also a brand (not moshi) above the arrow keys, but I can't quite make it out.

Pay for express or more expensive shipping then.

got the thing for a bit cheaper on amazon. let me clarify the question though, i was under the assumption that 2-3 weeks in shipment meant that the item was not in stock so should take long to ship. even with parcel shipment via USPS, something shouldn't take 2-3 weeks to ship within the US. heck, i've shipped items to Scandinavia in less time. moreover, i shipped a bunch of books from Boston to California and that took a week with the lowest USPS shipment option. a bit of clarification on the Moshi website would be helpful for budget conscious students looking to get economical shipment for their accessories.

Thanks for the linkback :)

I have Radtech Screen Saverz as well and I use it on all previous protector (iSkin.. etc.) since it will leave oil residue on the screen. But with CG I don't have to use it anymore as I can just simple wipe it off before I close it.

That is something I couldn't do before with silicon protector cause it's rubber thus friction when wiping it.

So far, no oil residue yet on the screen :)

It is thinner then it looks on picture especially at night like it is not there at all.

Good catch. That I believe is a zcover.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it :) I didn't notice the zcover bit on it at all!

I have both the keyboard cover and the palm guard. Whoa. I'm a bigger fan of Moshi than I ever have been of (m)Apple.

1) keyboard cover doesn't have to look like that other user's pictures - gross.
2) kbd cover is virtually clear and MUCH much friendlier (much) to type on (much) than the iSki (much) n. Does anyone want to buy the iSkin ....
3) Palm guard feels great when typing lazily. Non-metallic, somewhat vinyl texture. It definitely blends. To be incredibly perfectionist, I think it could be a bit thinner, but I'll stress that it's FINE.
4) I'm going to get a zefyr. And use my xen.

Just get them both ... they should be included with each MBP. Along with the mini DP adapters. And a remote. Dear Apple ...

The moshi palmguard is awesome! the best purchase I ever made for my Macbook Pro. I told my friend I had put a palmrest on, and he literally couldn't tell while staring at it for about a minute. It blends perfectly. It could be a "little" thinner, but the magnetic latch works fine. I have really acidic hands, so i can type much more comfy now knowing i won't burn a hole in my computer haha. get it, it's worth it. dunno about the keyboard cover...but if it's Moshi, you really can't go wrong.

UHM.. the pictures in that post are NOT of the CLEARGUARD... You can look for the MOSHI inscription on the spacebar but in those pictures it's obviously not there... Look carefully and you can see some sort of an inscription above the Left Arrow Key... I DOUBT that's MOSHI...

I can tell you it's VERY THIN, and moves with the keys very well.. Like I said, It takes a LITTLE bit of getting used to, because you have to press the keys a little more precise but it's worth it.. at least for me.

And YES, it really IS and FEELS as thin as the website advertises it...

EDIT: Added pictures..

Upon reading this thread, I decided to order one, as my original white macbook is starting to look unsavory at the palmrest and trackpad area.

I ordered yesterday late morning with standard shipping. To my surprise, my order was processed the same day. And since I'm in Monterey, CA, and they ship from Sunnyvale, CA, it's already out on the delivery truck today! Woohoo!

Luckily I did not pay for express shipping. It can't be more express than this!

I just received my Moshi CG today, typing with the CG is a million times better than typing with the iSkin protouch. One quick question for CG owners, are your escape, F1-F12, and eject keys slightly too big? Or is it just my unit?

I found the PalmGuard to be a LOT easier to install than iPhone screen protectors. I was able to pretty much nail the PalmGuard. It's a great product, you can't even tell that it's there, and it feels better than the aluminum... and of course your notebook's palm area won't turn brown.

I'm considering the keyboard cover, but given the fact that I mostly use the MBP hooked up to an LCD with a keyboard and mouse, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Lucky you, it took mine a full week to make it to Boston! Ordered on a Wednesday, and it arrived the next Wednesday.

There is like a millimeter gap on the top most keys but I have seen this on all the other silicon type protector also. It doesn't move around and probably they did it to cover wide range of chicklet keyboards.

I alos placed an order for the palm guard based on this thread. I have a Marware one on my old MBP, but the Moshi seems to be much thinner. It was shipped yesterday, so I'm looking forward to getting this.

WARNING: Do not apply the Moshi trackpad film, it was drastically reduce sensitivity. As a result, functionality will be reduced.

I've had my UMBP for over 2 months, at first I didn't think much of the trackpad as sometimes it doesn't register certain touches. But as time went by, I noticed that single finger touches nearly failed over half the time, so, today I decided to remove it. Once removed, full touch sensitivity came back.

Yeah I didn't install the trackpad part of the PalmGuard because i LOVE the feel of the trackpad and it doesn't seem to show and signs of wear, so i'm good

Any issues with regard to removing the film?
