Seems sufficient. Motorola might release a Moto X Maxx sometime in the future, who knows?
I thought the one Eric Schmidt was using had a black front and white back? I guess that could be part of the customisability?

Doesn't this conflict with the removable kevlar back rumor? Unless the removable back is purely for aesthetics (like the rumored custom backplates).

Then someone please tell me what's the amazing feature Moto X will have that will make it a must buy? Because a huge battery was all I could think of after seeing it has only mid range specs.
I don't see what makes this phone so special then.
I've been on the comment section for Engadget recently for their Moto X articles and it is a huge relief coming over here. The people over there are so stupid! You have people saying "Rumors say Snapdragon 800, 4000 mAh batter, 3GB RAM, and $200 of contract. Can't wait!"
Then you have about half of the commenters saying that this is replacing the Nexus 4, and then more people saying it isn't a Nexus but will have stock Android, immediate updates from Google, and be sold on the Play Store for $200 unlocked.
Some people are just dumb. Rant over.
Who knows. Apparently there is one unknown feature that is being kept super secret.
Or not. I don't know.
If there is, and I had to guess, I'd say fingerprint sensor.
EDIT: Or price? Maybe it'll be absurdly low -- subsidized by Google? I don't know. Still going to say fingerprint sensor.

I'm not seeing a side shot that match. Help me out?
It's also strange that Evleaks wouldn't know the difference between the Moto X and the MAX/Ultra. Not saying I don't believe you, but it's weird.
Looks nice but I wonder how quickly it would get dirty. Unless its easy to wipe clean...

I doubt there will be some amazing feature that we haven't heard about yet that will make it a must buy. If you aren't interested now, you probably won't change your mind after launch.
I do hope that it is no more than $400 off contract.
What are you referring to? I don't see any problems with what Evleaks has posted.
That is the bottom line. If priced right it could fill a big void in the smart phone arena. The major problem is apple doing the same thing with the all but confirmed budget iPhone.
The only compelling feature I can see with the Moto X would be the near stock Android experience. Otherwise it's very odd that they would push out what I presume to be a flagship phone with mid range specs. As far as EVLeaks goes, they're as accurate as it gets. No one knows who runs that twitter account, but they've been 100% accurate every time.
Once upon a time I was looking forward to the Moto X, but now I think I'll hold out for the next iPhone, or possibly the Note 3.

Someone else said this was the Droid MAXXX/ULTRA, so I asked for a source for that. They posted some MAXX/ULTRA promo materials, but I didn't see anything that looked like Evleaks' picture.
This was based off a web chat (links are earlier in this thread) where they talk about a feature yet unspoken of and yet revealed by rumors/leaks that they seemed very excited about but couldn't share.
Who knows. You could be right; it could be nothing.

They were referring to the rumoured 48-hour battery life. That rumor was about the Droid, not the Moto X. The storyboard is where the 48-hour battery rumor came from. I'm not convinced the storyboard is legit, though.
