Looks beautiful :)

Can't wait to see what the hype is all about on Aug 1st!

I am praying that they put in the 4000mAh battery into the Moto X.

I've read several places that is supposed to have only a 1500mAh battery. Another failure by Motorola!

----------

Good battery, good camera, LTE, 4.3 - 4.5" and $400 or less contract free and I'm sold.

Seems like this and the budget iPhone are going to be the new trend.

When has Motorola ever had a good camera in they're devices? I think you'll get the 4.3" screen size but I'm guessing it'll still sell for around $550+.

The rumors point to more than a nexus but less than a Google edition phones. That makes sense for a mid ranger.

Main reason I'm interested in this is the size. I'm kind of fed up with all flagships being so big so I've decided I'll try something that's mid-range for a change.

Same. Every time I hold a small phone, I love the form factor.

I'm actually also considering the One Mini but I want to try it out first. I had the One for a few days and decided it wasn't for me because the power button was so hard to reach. I guess I have smaller than average hands? They don't look small but I don't see many people complaining about the power button so either they have big hands or they never turn on/off the screen with one hand.

The price is my biggest issue with the one mini. It's rumored to be $500

When it comes to phones I tend to splurge so if I use it and like it I'll probably get it :p

I had that mentality in the past, but currently use the nexus 4 and it has changed my mind about paying more than $600 for a phone. Yes it has compromises by not double the price worth. I think a good phone is really important though since it is probably the single most used device in my life. I know within the next month or so I want to go back down to a smaller phone.

Well keep us posted with what you get. I've never bought a mid-range smartphone so I'm interested in it's performance in real-life usage from someone who's used top-range phones.

From the looks of the forums, a lot of people seem like they are getting on the mid-range train so there should be lots of feedback :)

I'm actually quite interested in this phone, but it's got to have a good camera, good battery, must not be too big (currently have an iPhone 4 and I'd honestly prefer to stick with a phone of that size). Well, and ofc the price does matter to a certain degree too, because I'm not willing to pay iPhone-like prices for phones not preceded by that lovely vocal that obviously justifies the horridly high price.

I always wondered how long we'd have to wait until truly customizable phones became a normal thing. It makes sense, seeing as how we do a ton of actual computing on phones these days. Being able to pick all the hardware, and even the OS ourselves would be great.

However, I despise Motorola. But it's still an interesting thought, I look forward to seeing what's going on here.

It's not just you. I returned it partly because of the powered button and the volume buttons. They are all flush but the power button is definitely hard to reach and I have pretty big hands.

I wonder how the near bezel less moto x will deal with accidental palm presses. I know it's a smaller screen but the screen is also closer to the edges where palms might hit.

It looks like it has about as much bezel as my S4 and I never have any problems with it so I don't see myself having any issues with this.

In very interested to see this phone. I may have to sell my N4 for it. I still have to decide what to do with my iPhone 5 too lol

I've only bought a Nexus 4, iPhone 5, One and S4 this year :p

I actually never use 2 phones simultaneously though. I hate carrying around 2 phones.

Last year was my worst year. 4, yes 4 iPhone 5's. 2 S3's. 2 Nexus 4's. Droid DNA. I think that's all lol.

This year HTC One GPE, S4 GPE, and Nexus 4. But keep in mind I always return my phones.

We could be addicted to worse things haha. I'm glad I'm not alone.

Nice. Now everyone can stop freaking out lol
