I find it totally irresponsible to use language that insinuates this is a real thing and they've scooped it. Then, to sit around a panel and have a discussion about how it was created. Shame on Motor Trend. And its ugly.

Sadly, there are dumber people out there who can't tell the difference and will believe they've seen the real thing and cast incorrect judgements bssed of it.

This article speculates that Jony Ive has a chauffeur as research for the apple car project.

OK I find this a bit of a stretch but in that New Yorker piece Ive said he "reluctantly" got a driver and he's only had the guy for a year or so. He's lived in San Francisco ever since joining Apple so why get a driver now? Especially someone that supposedly has a car collection and enjoys driving cars? Hmm..

Maybe I'm not geeky enough I do not want an apple car. What does Apple know about building a car. I don't understand why they're sitting around talking about it. I don't understand why anyone would want to own a future car. It seems to be incredibly difficult to imagine what can be built from here on out with artificial intelligence on the rise.

pretty sure they're going to do something instead of rubber tires. once you change that, you change the way you fundamentally drive.

The '80s called. They want their "futuristic" car design back.

What did Apple know about building a phone? Phone makers said largely the same thing you just said, but about Apple making phones before the iPhone was released.

One more thing

Introducing the isore and it's astonishing.

[doublepost=1460686228][/doublepost]It looks like a 2020 Pontiac Aztek

And they will buy it in droves

I think this might be the Samsung car... where no rumours about it yet? Where Apple goes...

And for once, there are plenty of Korean car manufacturers who could actually build them one ;)

Wow, that is butt ugly. I thought Apple was the cutting edge of style in their products. lol!!

Makes me want to take my 69 Mustang GT and do infinite doughnuts in the parking lot in front of 1 infinite loop. Then drop off a picture book of all popular cars ever made to help them get some better ideas. lol!!

This is just horrible. Who at Motor Trend thought Apple would actually design something as bad as this?

Theres no point in coming out with a concept of what you think a product will look like if theres absolutely no way it will. Concepts are supposed to be guesses of the future design of the product, not mockups that are so poorly made that even the creators know its a joke.

I own an iMac, Macbook Air, iPad Air, iPod touch, iPhones, Apple Watches and Apple TV, but there is nothing in me excited about an Apple Car. I'll stick with the two Model 3s I stood in line for.
