Its nice...but not $199+2yr lockdown nice. And definitely not $550+ off contract nice.

24 hours of battery life doing what exactly? The laws of physics prevent this phone from getting good battery life as it only has a 2200mah battery and the specs are no different from most other phones. Maybe 24 hours of standby time lol

Wow, that last bit about "Designed by you. Assembled in USA" is an obvious poke at Apple's recent ad campagin. The phone looks a little too wide but besides that its interesting.

Kind of silly. And seems like it could be a nightmare in terms of possible design combinations. Seems like more trouble than its worth.

Yeah, because I'm going to trust Google to tell the truth:
And all carriers in the world are co-operating and will be hiding the huge amount of data transfer needed for a 24x7 audio transmission and not letting it appear on their users' bills?

Take a 50 kB/s as the bandwidth needed for audio transfer, this adds up to 50 KB/s * 3600 s/h * 24 h/d * 30 d/month = 907 GB/month.

*YAWN* Doesn't look very Apple related.. and why would I as an Apple fan, on an Apple site, care about some crapola Android device? My Nexus 7 was enough to make me hate that lousy OS.

For a moment I thought I was on a website that focuses on Apple news and rumors.

I say this to myself every day I read this website now. I really don't care about Android or Google. If I wanted to read about it or talk about it, I'd go to a website that chooses to focus on that. Personally Google could do back flips and spit rainbows out of its arse. It's not gonna change my feelings. Apple does things that are simply more than the sum of their parts and makes products that are worthwhile and valuable. Google and others want to make cheap beta crap that sounds great on a piece of paper but in reality become novelty items that wear off pretty quickly. I've been forced to use google docs at work for three years now and it's the most miserable POS experience...it's all beta crap and I hate it.

i can wait to how many pranks will be pulled on the users through this active voice feature!

And lets see the battery life!

It reminds me of the Sidekick ID and the Sidekick 2008, amiriteguyz?

Must say, this is really impressive, now this is competition....... u know if its the real thing.

Battery life is sick.

… wasn't that the Nexus One?

while I assume the Nexus One was designed by Google (Google definitely had a hand in the process), it was actually made by HTC. Maybe that's what they thought of when they said the X was the first.

Looks great, wish I could activate Siri hands free.

There's an option in settings ya know ;)....just bring your iPhone up to your ear and start talking.

Without using your hands!?

:p

I wonder what would happen, if someone else instead of you says "OK, Google now"... Should the phone get activated every single time? This is just a fail!

Most people seem to overlook the fact that the problem with Android is that on paper everything looks shiny, but when things come to user experience... that's hell on earth!
