Oh, what, so Apple invented rounded rectangles?

And an edge-to-edge screen with an oblong rounded rectangle notch? And a protruding rear dual camera setup with smooth metallic edges? And the mixed neon color wallpaper? And the Helvetica Neue Ultralight-esque clock at the top?

Pfffft, Apple fanboys!

And Apple will totally ignore this, along with ignoring all others, and continue to go after Samsung.
Why.

So if everyone is copying the notch (and now everything else on the X) does that mean Steve actually would have approved of this design?

This is digusting
Hows DARE Apple copy the Motorola P30!!!
These Chinese are such great innovators and intellectuals - it’s a travesty Apple should infringe thier property
China - please start a trade war to level to playing field!!

No one would ever confuse it with an iPhone - it's running android (and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if it were permanently exiled to Oreo). You just unlock it and say, "Ew, this isn't iOS."

I wish Apple 2018 would copy more from Apple 2012's style/UIx guide.

This popped up on my FB memories from 2012 (I was disgusted with the misused apostrophes).

UI looks terrible and dated IMO. I’d hate for them to go back to an iOS 6 or earlier look.

I don't know why this is such a big deal NOW--Android manufacturers have been doing this since last year, but when Motorola does it everyone goes nuts. I guess maybe because this is a brand people actually care about?

Either way, I can only guess that this isn't being sold in the US because Motorola doesn't want to be sued.
No lol, almost nobody seems to care about Motorola. But its definitely more known than the other copying brands.

If you want Google to track every move and provide it to advertisers, Government, and your wife's divorce lawyer please feel free to use spyware... um Android.

Remember Chinese people love knock offs, they have markets full of copying the real thing. Coach, Rolex's etc.

Looks like a better iPhone X with possibly fingerprint scanner and probably half the price. And, the iPhone X stole ideas from Samsung Galaxy phablet and Essential Phone notch.

How can Apple steal ideas if they patented the notch before the essential phone was even a thing. Your making things up again.

What phablet, does Samsung even make phones anymore?

Just going by Apple fanboy rules that if you're not first then you're a copycat. Stop moving the goalpost. :p

Look up, first enough for ya

So probably a lawsuit gets filed this month that gets settled in 2027 after both the iPhone X and this blatant copy are obsolete?

Maybe because sometimes other phones resemble the iPhone but this looks like a photo copy of the X.

How can they even be proud to sell that?
The bigger problem is that consumers buying this phone wants to be mistaken for owning an iPhone X, which isn't going to happen with that stupid Motorola logo on the bottom chin.

Hey, at least there's some contrast there that doesn't require you to squint to read thin white letters on a bright green bubble. :)

Well, nobody including I would want a literal carbon copy of iOS6 but how about a shift back more towards less use of light colored text on garish white backgrounds. More differentiation between what's pressable vs. not pressable (it all looks alike now). Not all the change-for-sake-of-change in 2013's iOS7 can be called better than before. But all can be called different than before, that's for sure.

What about the iOS6-era calendar vs. the borderless white/red font joke of a calendar in iOS7-11?

I'd love that keyboard back though. There's something about seeing a button pressed more obviously that makes the phone feel faster. Today when I press a small "button" where my fingertip completely covers it, I often am left uncertain if it even pressed, and the half-second wait feels like forever. Seeing the bold keyboard buttons calling you to press them, and seeing a larger button change color and be "pressed" certainly feels snappier at the least, and often way more intuitive in the most.
