Oh, the way I meant it was just how high is it from your desk to the top of your open MBP lid (screen) on mStand...

And while you're at it, could you as well measure how high is it up in the front? (Please refer to the pics to see what I'm talking about)

Thanks!

OK, measurement one, from the desk to the top of the MBP at the back is 410 mm.
Measurement Two, from desk to the front is 65 mm.

Hope this helps.

Got mine, it's amazing.

Posted some pics here.

Nice pics. The mstand has been a great purchase. With the two screens I have now it have changed the way I use my mac and tidied the desk no end. A definite improvement. Always on the look out for decent products for the mac like the mstand.

My 1st post and I am bring something back from a while ago. :)

I am wondering if anyone with a stand would be willing to measure the thickness? I am currently looking to make a modified version of this stand to be used with a dock (for my PC at work).

I am also looking for deals on the mstand for my mbp at home. It seems that aside from the hole size in the rear, that it is a rather nice product.

I do foresee making something similar for my work PC and everyone at work will want one...

I am definitely considering buy one for my mbp. i was going to use it to connect it to my 30 inch dell monitor until i saw the price of the cable I need and also since 90% of the reviews are negative on the cable

How does having your laptop on the mStand actually dissipate heat better than normal?
