I haven't had background installed since I've been on before 4.0. Any app the isn't updated for 4.0 will not even show up in multifl0w. It does not close apps that save state or 'multi-task' nativity under 4.0.

I just tried with some more apps, mine closes literally everything with the exception of apps that I have set to "overide: continue to run app when closed" in backgrounder.

If I'm in the photo albulm looking at images, I can multitask around and come back to photo and its still on the image. When I close it in multiflow, it has to reload the whole app, I have to tap the camera roll etc.

It completely closes every game I have tried to close, ios4 compatible or not.

It does crash my springboard whenever it shows more than 6 apps and I try to move them. (which I only did to **** with it)

Other than the infrequent crashes, its been great for me.

Like I said in an earlier post, double tapping home on the lockscreen still brings up iPod controls.

And I don't know when they fixed it but in multiflow if I tape the space around the apps it takes me to the springboard homepage. Pretty cool.

Been using multifl0w for the past couple of days, so far I don't think its worth the $4.99 price tag, $2-3 seems more like the sweet spot for this kind of app.

Regardless, I like the app a lot. Battery life has been fine for me and it is quite useful in conjunction with backgrounder.

I have backgrounder set to close all apps except for the overrides I listed which imo. is the best configuration for the iphone since you control which apps will stay open/closed. As a result of this, I've never come across the 9+ app problem since I don't let every single thing background.

Multifl0w is faster to navigate with than the native multi-task viewer since it flips open up to 9 backgrounded apps at once. You have all backgrounded apps on one screen, no need to scroll, and the thumbnails make figuring out which app is which a lot faster at first glance (at least to me).

The expose effect is pretty cool too and seamless, even when I'm running two games in the background. I'm not sure how it would fare on the 3gs and lower but it runs like a champ on the iphone 4.

While I do think it looks great and works fast, I just removed it because it kept putting me in safe mode. Another poster mentioned that am update was coming in a few days. I'll give it another shot when the update comes out.

Had it installed for a few days now. Works nice. I like the interface. No crashing or battery drain issues here.

It's not worth $4.99. It's a .99 cent feature if you ask me and not having a trial of it sucks.

It's NOT a must have for me.

Initially liked this app but it kept chewing up way too much RAM and kept crashing for no reason. Currently disabled now and we'll see if any updates fix all this.

The new version is out and so far seems good!

I really lime the icon overlay. I hope there will be an option to make them a little bigger in the future.

Hasn't crashed on me yet either!

What changed in the update?

On my 3GS (iOS 4.0) muliflow is crashing for me and it can be reproduced.

If I have a number of apps open in the background (5 or more) and I start closing them through multiflow (using the upper left red "x") the springboard will crash to safemode when I close the second to last application.

Seems similar to other reports.

Tried the new version today and looks as though most bugs are fixed. When closing the app with x it really closes the app now. Had 11 apps running and haven't crashed yet either. I'm running on iPhone 4 4.0.1 if it makes any difference for anyone.

Happens to me as well if I close out the apps too quickly. If I give each one a second to close before moving on to the next one it seems to work fine.

ETA still crashes even I close out the apa slow.

Now I just drop down my sbs settings and kill the apps that way and they disappear from multiflow as well. That seems like a good workaround. It's almost easier to kill the apps through sbs anyway.

I have the newest version 2.01-37 running on iOS4.0.1

I just uninstalled it, it crashes way way to often, Ive been running it for atleast a week but its finally gotten to the point of being an annoyance. I can't have something crashing while in a phone call(even tho surprisingly it keeps the phone call active while it goes into safe mode, just takes like 5 seconds to rejoin it)

It is really cool and impressive to show off, but again. I use the phone all day, not anyone I show.

Also I'm not sure if its backgrounder or Multifl0w but even after apps are closed out, they still remain open. If you go to cydia and launch the normal Iphone multitasker bar (by double clicking the home button, its disabled in cydia) I always find tons of apps that are remained open. So I don't believe Multifl0w is actually closing out these programs, but I will find out obviously shortly if it is Multifl0w or backgrounder being the cause of this.

(Edit: BTW, I have it crashing alot with just 3 apps running, and even 2 somtimes)

This is an interesting application, but does not seem to close the audio applications that run in the background when you press the X button You can not drag applications despite this be activated in the configuration. It would be nice if you can have the application in the background automatically multifl0w and you can open a new on the board to your liking.

I don't have the newest update, I have the one before that.

It won't close music players or end phone calls, etc.

Closes backgrounded apps. Hit or miss with IOS4 multitask, i.e. sometimes closes completely sometimes doesn't.

Seems to work based on where its activated. If I go from an App-->homescreen-->multiflow, sometimes the App won't show up in multiflow.

If I go from App-->Multiflow, the App always shows up in multiflow.

It is very annoying when I open an app, then need to open another from the homescreen. I have to open the 1st App-->Activate multiflow-->close multiflow-->open 2nd App-->open multiflow.

If I don't go through that, when I activate multiflow from the 2nd app, it will only show the 2nd app.

confusing, i know

Just to throw it out there, I still use this in place of native multitask, and I have native set up as hold home button for memory management.

1) Seems like the new one definitely fixes a lot of issues but still not 100% perfect

2) The reason it doesn't work, and that happened to me, is that you have to configure activator correctly...pain the in the butt but i just resetted it

Installed the update last night and for me it was even worse then the first version, crashed everytime i used it.

Un-installed now until a bug free version is ready.

Been using it for a while. Removed it last night.

It's very slow when closing apps. And for me, it didn't show all of my recent apps.

When I removed it, there was page after page of apps on the standard app switcher.
