Just a couple of quick questions. Firstly how does this incorporate with the nativ emultitasking of ios4? What happens to the ipod controls? Also have people noticed any system lag?
i notice if you are playing pandora and hit the X to close it the app will go off the screen but music will still play.. so hitting the X doesnt exactly terminate the application.
This app doesn't replace the native task bar so I don't know why they had activator map controls that way. I find that if I leave it sitting in standby for a while it will show 'No backgrounded app' . It seems that it only shows previews of recently backgrounded apps and 'closing' them just removes preview of it from the interface.
Just got it, first glance it's great. But what's with all the open space when you have a bunch of apps open. The screens are so small you have to look for what your looking for, it does not just pop out at you. Overall its much faster but the window sizes need to be made min bigger, also the option to use icons like apple does would be great!
Aaron Ash replied to my email to support about crashing the phone when you background too many apps. Here's what he said.
It could be that your phone is just running out of memory. Unfortunately, I can't change the hardware of your phone
So, if multifl0w goes to background an app and there isn't enough memory instead of simply not backgrounding the app, the only other choice is to crash the phone? How elegant.
MultiFl0w seems to use up too much RAM because its keeping apps in the Multi Task switcher even after u close them...
he basically said in twitter to someone that if you own a 3gs or ipad then the program is not the best for them; since they have 2 little memory to handle multif0w without crashes, for my 3GS it was consuming ram and I really like to open more than 2 pages on safari and if I left running multifl0w it would make me have around 20-30 MB of ram only and for me that is unacceptable thus the removal of said app even though is mad cool and back to 70-110 MB free!
If that's all it is, then it ought to be free. What a waste of $4.99. Oh well, live and learn. It should be nothing more than a pretty interface to access Apple's native multitasking.

Free?
You know that time is money and someone put a lot of time into that app and is likely to put more time into it moving forward. If they want to charge for it, that is up to them.
You certainly don't have to buy it. The app may have no value to you but you don't get determine if it should be free or not.
What is it with people these days? Always having you hand out and reacting with indignation when someone has the gall to charge a small fee.

Not sure I can blame multiflow, but I had a 28% battery drain tonight while the phone was @ standby. Going to uninstall to see if multiflow is the culprit.
