all across my Music library ALL music art tiles, playlist art tiles, and artists pictures, are showing very low-res images (as shown in photos). Unless I go into the album then it will display high-res images again. And for playlist the main picture for the cover of the playlist will be high-res (if I go into the playlist) but the little tiles for the songs in the playlist will be low-res. This only happens in my music library, not in say browns, listen now, my music profile, or search (search in Music not search in library). Also this happens with perched music form the iTunes Store. If I delete the music app and then reinstall it it the issue will go away when first opening the app but I close the app the issue will come back. Same thing goes for if I restore form a iPad back up. It wont even go away if I factory reset my device from scratch. Ive had this issue since some time after I got an iPad 5 gen in 2017. I have a 2018 iPad Pro 11” and when through 2 other 11” iPad Pros (had to get them replaced because of factory defects). Ive never had this issue on any of my iPhone or any other device. And I don’t know anyone with this issue, I’ve only seen one other person on the internet with the same issue. I don’t have optimized storage on had it off for years. Ive also got 209.3GB of free storage. Also I always stay updated to the latest OS updates. Usually in the late summer I will update to the beta for the next major iPadOS/IOS update. Then just go to the full release in September.
I’ve contacted Apple support so many times trying to fix this... I’ve been through 3 senior advisors trying to get this issue resolved. First I’ll give screenshots, screen recordings, device diagnostics, and information. And with all 3 representatives l’ll get 1 or 2 phone calls to give/get information/updates about my issue. Then when I email to get an update or schedule anther call (if they so to) I won’t hear back. That’s usually around the time when they say “our engineers are looking into this issue”. Then I’ll never hear back form any of one. The last time I’ve talked to my most recent advisor trying to help me was in early May. Since then I’ve tried to contact them (in June) and give new information no response.
Do I just give up on this? I can live with this bug it’s just a small annoyance. Just really annoying after 4 YEARS.
one more thing, the first screenshot is what everything should look like. I got it after a fresh install of the app.
