Previously, the Column Browser results would also filter when searching.
In this example, only Lady Gaga, Steve Miller Band, & Sugar Ray should be showing under Artists. This isn't new to macOS 26, it started a while ago. Possibly with macOS 15 or even 14.
With every update where this isn't fixed— I send a report. That's 17 reports since 5/2/24. I'm convinced that all of my feedback goes into a spam folder at this point. Or are we two the only ones that give a damn about this? This is a big deal to me and I'm holding my MBA to Sonoma 14.2. My iMac? I just suffer with it.

I am not sure if this is a new bug or not as I can no longer keep up with this hot mess of an app, but when viewing a playlist in Album View which initially looks like this...

...after selecting any album within an Album View playlist then going back (arrow back) to all albums view, you are met with this:

No albums.

Toggling to Song View then back to Album View doesn't help. The only way to fix this is to exit the app then re-open. How can a gigantic bug like even exist? Unless I am a moron and missing something here?

This bug exist since first Tahoe beta 🤡🤡🤡 same like you can't play a song of your choice in album view and need manually skip to desired track from first song through entire album 🤡🤡🤡

Just make Music app exclusively for streaming and bring back iTunes for local files, coz at this point it's just unbearable to use on a daily basis 💀

I've already reported this in Feedback.

Basically, the Album View only works the first time you click on a playlist. You can get it back (for one more viewing only!) by changing the sort option to another sort-by. But as it only shows the albums once, this doesn't really help much. Just an observation.

It's a shame no one at Apple actually uses the Music app on MacOS.

Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but....."Join CD Tracks" seems to be missing. Just went to rip a CD (with Music 1.6.0.151) and wanted to join several tracks, but the option is missing completely and is nowhere to be found. 😡
At this point, there my be developers working on the Music app that weren't alive yet to own CDs.

While there are so many bugs with the Music app on Tahoe as many of you have reported here, especially for local library and UI (keyboard navigation with column browser is a mess actually...), I found yet another bug that surfaced with Tahoe 26.2 beta (Music 1.6.2.50).

Syncing local library to iPhone won't transfer artworks correctly. All synced tracks after Tahoe 26.2 beta lacks artworks on iPhone, while on macOS's Music app artworks are there. Deleting caches won't work here.

Syncing music to iPhone will randomly skip tracks.
Opening an album from smart playlist and clicking any song will always begin playing from the first track on the list.
