Since I don't know of any other way to contact Apple I think I'm just going to put the order in (even though it says I have until 5 PM tomorrow to complete the order). This way at least there's some kind of record of an order. I will then call them before 5 PM tomorrow, and at the very least they'll be able to delete the order and create a new one if necessary. I also made screenshots of each step for the record.

I think that sounds like a reasonable plan. Hopefully it'll work out . . .
 
I got hit by this... One phone in reservation, another after went through fine. So now I have to be home to sign twice because Apple locked me out of retrying my first phone until they'd sold out? Not cool.
 
Was about to get through to Apple via their chat feature. Hoping they tell me good news . . .
 
Definitely keep us posted if you hear anything. I had the same thing happen and am unable to get through via phone to apple...

So far they said, "I have had another customer with the same issue so we are trying to research the systems to be sure that we provide you with the best solution."

Just ended my chat with Apple. The person I talked to was very polite and spent a lot of time trying to look in to the problem.

They acknowledged others are having the same issue and said they are "trying to research the systems to be sure that we provide you with the best solution."

They eventually told me to not complete the order at this time, and to provide my name and phone number so they can contact me back to complete the order by phone. I gave them the information after being reassured, and confirming, that they will contact me today.

In regards to what others with the same issue should do they stated, "we trust that this issue is being resolved since you have brought it to our attention. The best option is to recommend that others contact us so that it can be resolved in the same way."

Hoping it'll be solved with time. Goodnight. :cool:
 
I ordered at 7:45 CST and mine also says it will ship in two weeks. Hopefully I will still get it on 9/21. :)
 
Ordered Black 32 ATT at 5am eastern. Said 2 weeks after 'We've received your order'. Now changed to 'Processing items' Delivers 5 Oct

Oh well

Avoided ATT Premier; too many issues in the past.

So mine is now saying delivers 9/21.... but when i hit complete order it keeps spitting me back out to the cart
 
Whew. My completed order now says 9/21 when it was saying two weeks before. I'm glad it's fixed but this is how I felt the whole time...

Every time I hit checkout now, it just spits me back to the main cart page.... i know someone had this issue too anyone fix it?

Same here. since 6am PDT.

i called apple "they are aware of the minor glitch they are trying to fix" and advised me to try again in an hour. That was 3 hours ago.
 
I ordered the phone at 12:30am but AT&T eligibility check failed due to AT&T servers so I received an email that said i would get another email to complete my transaction...however my phone was reserved. I completed the transaction around 6am in the morning and it just finished processing the order at 10am. I will receive the phone on Sept 21st. It seems that if you ordered before 1am and you are reserved a phone, you get it on Sept 21st.

I hope this information helps.
 
So now the lady is telling me the order may not be going through because the reservation is not valid? and I may have to be on 2 weeks? Ohhhhh i am so passed pissed off right now.
 
When anyone called and gave the reservation number, did it come up invalid with the customer agent rep?
