Rob is this the first computer you have ever built?
I have taken one apart and put it back together/upgraded a bunch of things. But yes this is my first build from scratch. Why?
(I await the condescending remarks)

It's run of the mill.I actually think im going to go with this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031
What do you think?
OP, here is a build I put together for a customer a while ago. He was also budget limited and demanded good graphics. Use this build as a basis for yours.
I don't know if the combos I am about to post are still active since this was 3 months away, but you can catch on idea if you know what I mean. Case and optical drive are small (sub $100) pieces that really don't factor much in. You can save up for 2 more weeks and get a better CPU.
Stick to AMD. No it's not AMD love here, it's just a C2D is not recommended in 2010. LGA 775 is near its death.
Also, might I point out that those prices go lower if you factor in the Mail in Rebate that accompanies those parts.
You can get 2-3% Bing Cashback on NewEgg. Your build looks fine otherwise.Cool, thanks for the tips. How does this look? Let me know if you see anywhere that I can shave some cash off. (but not the case or hd. I want that case)

http://www.bing.com/cashbackDo you just search with Bing to get this cashback? How does that work? I am kinda curious!
Your motherboard will provide them.
Two SATA cables, an IDE one, and a floppy cable are always included. Some more premium boards have more SATA cables and the boards for Optical Audio and S/PDIF inputs.Thanks. Do most of the newer gigabyte mobo's provide them?
