I find it impossible (or nearly) that people don't experience glitches and lags with their iPhones. I and all of my colleagues at work who have the iPhone 4 have experienced them from time to time. More or less than Android devices - I can't say. But the notion that iOS and the iPhone is free from technical issues seems dis genuine to me.
Give it a few weeks, lag will soon set in
I would say the lack of iTunes like syncing is actually an advantage. You don't "sync" music, you just copy the music files to the storage. Simple as that.
Calendar and contact syncing is done over-the-air through your Google account. No "syncing" and setup required.
But other than that I agree with you.
I'm glad you like your device - just be aware of the screen burn in issues with all of these amoled screens including the samoled screens.
I'm happy to stick with apple quality.
I have to say the SG2 is a beast and the first Android device worthy of a good look.
I enjoy the humor on this forum. The sarcasm is also quite entertaining.
Those who "get it" know what I'm talking about.
Those who don't, may never. They'll live on in sheer bliss.

All phones have quirks/bugs or issues. But I agree many iPhone users act like the phone is flawless. Free bumpers anyone?
It seems apple is losing its appeal by going 4S
going to att now to check this phone out
i was thinking of going with a bionic if i went android but this phone has me strongly reconsidering
I just want to point out that while I sometimes hate iTunes for crashing my computer, I also do rely on it the best when it comes to how I organize my music. There is a certain way I organize and iTunes simply has the most options of filtering things I want to see. And how I view my music is becoming more important each day as my library grows. So iTunes might be one of the things I will most if I leave iOS even if I have a love/hate relationship with the program. When it comes to multimedia content, iPhone really is the best at it all-around.2. SYNCING SYNCING SYNCING
-NO ITUNES! iTunes is an incredible software suite that complements the phone perfectly. The Android community tries but fails miserably to do this. Google cal and contacts continue to sync incorrectly and sporadically, and trying to sync music requires the use of usually two or more apps that still can't do what iTunes does.
....In any case who'd have thought that a phone - a communication device used for sending and receiving sounds - would be judged so much by its screen.
I am going to check it out today as well on my lunch break. Assuming the little AT&T store near where I work has one. Apple is going to have to bring me a redesign tomorrow or I will walk down to that same store and probably buy the S2.
I have been able to upgrade since June and have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a new iPhone. I am starting to think I am going to be horribly disappointed.
The one problem I find with the SG2 and most Samsung smart phones is that blueish tint on the screen. The whites are just not white.
I'm in the exact same boat as you...except I've been due an upgrade a little longer. Checked out the Sprint version a couple of days after it came out..definitely a nice handset. Going to check out the ATT version here shortly.
Also going to give Apple their shot to impress me tomorrow before I make a decision....but also going to wait til next Tuesday to see what the Google and Samsung event brings us. I hate waiting and waiting...but I've waited this long, and if the Prime is going to be released this month, it'd be silly to not wait a couple of extra weeks. Unless of course the GS2 really blows you away or the Prime is too big for your tastes.
