me and my mom were on our way to the grocery store. We got stuck in a flood. Our car got submerged. Our car is now totaled. We can't buy a new one. I'm soaking wet and covered in human feces from the flood waters. My dads basement is flooded.

Why does god hate us?

kbye.

Life sucks, buy a HUMMER... (I'm an ass, this is sarcasm).

Edit: If your wet and covered in ****, why did you get on the computer and not in the shower?

We have yet to contact our insurance agency. We're going to do so in the morning. And yes, we have full coverage. With our luck, they will say it was an act of God...

Go to the shower, call insurance tomorrow and be thankful that you and your mom didn't get injured.

Not to be that guy, but...how did you "get stuck in a flood"?

At any rate, I highly doubt God was intimately involved in submerging you in feces-infused water...

careful how you word it , approach the local area gov ?, maybe the drains are inadequate and they'll hook you up rather than face a law suit ?

I could tell you why you are sitting at your computer covered in **** but then we would have to move this thread to the religious section.

Sorry to hear about this, Prof.

I hope by now you are feeling a bit better. The car...if you have full insurance on it, maybe they'll not only replace it, but get you a rental in the meantime.

The basement is another story. Call your city hall. I don't know how widespread the flooding was near you, but we had some significant flooding in my burg a few years back, quite a few people here were in your situation, and our city manager did a great job coordinating things, pointing people to agencies that could help. It was a big enough flood that they even got FEMA involved. If yours wasn't an isolated situation, maybe something like that will happen for you.

Let us know what's going on, OK?

Life has it's down and it's moments of glory.

Hope things perk up for you.

I can switch your problems with mine right now. At least you live in a country where you have a future and can get a new car eventually.

I am 34 and still living with my mother in my same room since a kid because life here is so expensive. If I crash my car I would have to wait from 6 to 8 month to get the parts, that is just to give you an example.
