my macbook pro reciept stolen!!

It's a piece of paper, calm down. It appears and I am only judging this off your reaction, that you may have forgot to take your medication, go take it.

All large stores can print you a new receipt. Just go back and ask for it. As for Apple's purposes in case you ever need help it is all about the serial number, your receipt is useless to them. You seriously want someone fired because they somehow did not get your receipt in the bag? I imagine you have never screwed up right?

like i said il see tomorrow, i revised what happened and it was pretty swift i have a right to see the cctv footage as i have appeared on it, the manager is turkish im half i have no doubt il persuade him to take a look at it, if she did indeed put it in the bag then the receipt disintegrated, the fact that no one can see that this could happen is the reason fraud is so common.. if it didnt happen then il admit i was careless and an idiot for jumping the gun..
 
The lady at the carwash keeps taking my receipt and then when my car comes out it's still dirty and smells like mustard on the inside.

I see her do it. I see her. I do.

I don't understand the paranoia about her claiming it was stolen either. If it's a retail establishment why we should have any kind of agenda? There's also no reason they shouldn't give you another one.
 
The police? Because she misplaced a receipt? Are you serious?

WOW.

I am having a really hard time grasping the hilarity of this situation / stupidity of the OP.

What?!?!? :eek: :confused: Am I missing something? :confused: You didn't take the time & effort to check that the receipt is indeed in the bag when you accepted it in the store & the receipt might have been misplaced by the salesperson (a likely honest mistake IMHO), but you just want to push all the blame to the salesperson & get her fired?!?!? :eek: :confused:

Maybe the Turkish manager is in on it? ... I bet the cctv footage has been altered already ... you should record everything when you go back ... it will help the FBI when you need to get them involved

I am curious & I wonder... If you're allowed to view the CCTV footage & it indeed shows that the salesperson did put the receipt into your bag, then what are you planning to do? Go find yourself a solid brick wall & bump your head into it? :confused:

You need to calm down or you're going to have a heart attack. It's a receipt and the only purpose it serves is if you need to return the laptop or get it covered under insurance. If you're not going to do either one, then who cares. I throw away plenty of receipts after the return period is over. If you paid by a credit card or check, they most likely can print you a new receipt if you want it badly. But they're not going to pull the security camera data for a missing receipt. Be happy that you have a new laptop and stop stressing about the little stuff.

Just out of interest why are you so hung up on this receipt business? If you never had it it's not like it has your fingerprints or DNA on it don't stress. LOL
 
GUYS!!! I just bought this kick-@ss Macbook Pro receipt off ebay!! I got a great deal from checkoutgirl1138 who said I could use it to control the true owner's mind.

The fool left Argos with his Macbook Pro while leaving the more valuable receipt for checkoutgirl1138 to take. Man, I am so canceling his warranty, reporting my MBP stolen (I mean I have the receipt), and controlling his mind so he won't be able to walk by "Catcher in the Rye" without the uncontrollable urge to buy a copy.

Ebay RULES!!!

Woah! You shouldn't insult the worker on their appearance just because your carelessness caused a problem.

Also, Why did you come on the forums before trying to go back to the store.
You shouldn't jump to conclusions claiming that she stole a receipt, something she handles everyday... I doubt that he/she would steal your receipt.
You also didn't consider it was a result of human error, either by you or the worker. Filing a claim with the police wouldn't do nothing since you don't have any valid reason,especially the "look" oh her face.

I think you should really think this over, you're wanting him/her to get fired because you are being negligent, irrational and paranoid.

Don't go to the store and accuse her of stealing to put his/her job at risk please.
 
Something about buying a $3,000 MacBook Pro really does make you paranoid. When I first got mine I was afraid to leave it at home. Sometimes I hid it in my closet or just took it with me to make sure it was ok.

I didn't even think about the receipt I hope I can still find it.
