My new macbook pro is prepared for shipment!

Mine has finally shown up on the radar again. It was missing for three days, but now it's on it's way to me and scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning!

Well, at least you guys can see where yours is.... I ordered (through the university) a 2.8 GHz with the additional adapters for the monitor on the 15th and don't know a thing about delivery. For some reason the IT folks can't/won't give me the tracking details... very frustrating...

Can anyone guess-tee-mate an ETA??? I have to leave abroad for a week on the 28th and really hoping to get it by then as the o'l PB is on it's last legs. Have a pretty big presentation to give and every time I open/close the lid the screen dies... after much slapping it seems to come right.... very strange.

May I expect an update now? ( taking in the fact that right now is morning in China )

Is there a chance that Apple tracking sistem is delayed? I guess no one is gonna be 24 / 7 in U.S. to update apple store as soon as our MBP are moving, so perhaps my MBP is already shipping?!! XD Hope so!!

Should be something like 7-10 days if you want to upgrade to the 320g @ 7200 rpm.

I ordered mine thursday night 8:30pm PDT and it showed me shipping 3-5 days. The only recently changed it around probably because of a hard drive shortage.

i see.. so that's not because of the upgrade of the cpu?

congrats to me...i have just placed an order.....and I am studying in the uk so my mum is gonna send it over....guess it would be well cushioned already in the box so i dont have to worry about shipping it f/ hk to uk?

do they usually do that? like giving a date which is much later than they really expect to ship out the order?
