Everything's fixed.

ya hwo did you fix it. enlighten us incase this happens to us
it wasn't able to be fixed, so he got me a new one.
Personally, I don't believe your posts. If they are true, then shame on you. In what world do you think what you did was right? Perhaps the phones wouldn't be so expensive if the return rate was lower. You and your friend have no ethics. If you can't pay, then don't play.
Wah wah wah. I don't care if you don't believe me, I wouldn't waste my time making up a story.
In what world do I think what I did was right? This world.
glad you got it resolved. dont listen to that guy. nothing morally wrong. a simple software restore by apple will get that phone back on the refurb market.

Although I'd like to hear more details on how this was handled...
It's great you have a working device again! You did nothing wrong. The iPhone failed during the phone call not the Custom Firmware.
here's some advise:
3g: $200 plus a 2 year ball & chain
phone insurance: $5 a month
hacking your phone & bricking it: -$600
saying you lost your phone and having it covered with $5 insurance: PRICELESS
So I thought the phone had the Pineapple logo? How did the store return go? Give us the story.. "I said.." "They said.." and so forth. Come on ! After 5 pages and three days you owe us something.
WOW! You are one lucky girl.. +1 for the HAWT voice ;]The phone did have the pineapple logo.
My friend is a genius at an Apple store, and I went in when they were closing and he agreed that it would have happened whether or not I jailbroke it. He replaced the phone for me, and my broken one is being sent back to the company where it'll most likely be parted out or something.
I think this thread has adequately demonstrated that she had a defective phone.
There is nothing here that indicates that what she did to the phone caused it to be defective...
