Feels kinda "moist" after applying the renovateur, I'd suggest letting the leather breathe for about an hour before putting the phone back into the case.

But overall it'll be less slippery over time after using the renovateur.
Thanks. Did it clean it well?

So three days with this case on my 6s+ and I must say, it's amazing. It is way more grippy and is starting to develop a patina. This case feels and looks so premium and classy. I'm going to keep this case on until I get and iPhone 7+. Apple leather cases is the only way to go. It's either Apple leather case or no case for me.

I've had mine for 3 weeks now and it just ends up looking plain dirty :( Lot of color bleed from my dark jeans. I think I might just switch for the silicon one.

Ya I would try a leather cleaner to get out the dark spots. Then apply a conditioner. It should help.

I don't see them coming out no matter how much you scrub. Although I really dig the patina on the saddle brown, some don't come out how we would like to. It's the only negative about this case.

jeans will do that to any leather. the pros and cons of wearing jeans. what would be even worse are raw blue jeans.

Mine arrived today, .. loving it. No regrets buying it.
It feels great in the hand, it is slimmer than I thought, it is snug and when placed on the table the screen isn't touching the table now. The mic goes in well, doesn't touch the leather. The back looks good now, and I hope the wear and tear on it will give it that awesome leathery look which makes it feel professional and 'not so plasticy cheap'.

Thumbsup. Thanks for this thread, it was the convincer - and like I said: no regrets.

Isn't this going to happen to any leather over time? Think about how many times we touch our phone in a day. This is going to happen, and it will be much faster than most leather things you own. I would think this would happen to any real leather case you buy for your iPhone.

I'm still waiting for mine, however I really hope my case ages like the ones posted here, they look really nice.

I use me ok leather cleaner and conditioner for our cars, I'm assuming that will be fine. I'll report in a week or 2 when I finally clean and condition for the first time.

Man I love the way my Brown Leather case aged but this Saddle Brown patina looks great! Think I may be in the market for my second official Apple leather case.

I've put a couple of colors on my Christmas and birthday wishlist for friends and family to consider. I think since they're also so easy to swap out that it's fun to keep a few around and see how they age. The blue one looks pretty spiffy too.

I've had the phone for less then 2 weeks and I have 4 Apple leather cases 2 toxo cases and 1 Amazon case. I will probably stick to the apple cases. I plan on asking for a silicon one for my birthday which is in a week lol

I've just received mine and I absolutely love how it looks, I'll post updates on how it ages after some weeks...

I'm just surprised on the complaints with blue jeans rubbing of onto leather ( or clear/white TPU, silicone ).

As if it's Apples fault?

What did you expect? We all have enjoyed our old faded blue jeans from the 1960's onwards. When jeans fade, it means the bluing is coming off.

That's the nature of the blue dye in blue jeans and why most like blues jeans. It not permanent

It's not Apples fault, it's the blues jeans.

Do you own other pants material that fades like blue jeans do? No.

Wrong. It's Apple's fault for not putting any type of sealant on this leather to keep it from absorbing stains so easily.

I returned the saddle leather case. I didn't like how it felt compared to last year's black leather. It was too slippery and a little thicker. Oh well.

I have an iPhone 6 since March, with the silicone case. Overall I was happy of the silicone case, but I was really tired of the silicone gathering dust, cat hair or lint in jeans due to its "stickiness". Also, the silicone has worn quite rapidly, especially on the front bottom corners.

This thread convinced me to get the saddle brown leather case, which I really love so far. I used conditionner/waterproofer before first use, I will post some updates in the future weeks.
