It was an impressive comeback, but this was what I'd call the first real tourney win. They played a scrub (Detroit), a team playing over its head (Purdue), a mediocre team (NC State), and a handicapped but talented team (UNC). All of which were close games, except the Detroit one (which actually was for a little over a half).
I think UK is the first team KU will face all tourney that combines immense talent, some depth, and some coaching. KU won't be able to slow them down enough + UK is too potent. I'll take UK easily.
If by some grace Self manages to coach KU to a win, the man should be immediately immortalized at KU.
