Doesn't that have more to do with currency fluctuation? No it is not the same price as before, here in Europe prices for new iPhones have gone up considerably.
I think the new 4" Device going to kill 6s sales.![]()

Apple's prices on their US website have been the same for as long as I can remember: $650 and up.
This. There could be several reasons.
Also - I don't think the "5SE" will be a hot seller unless it really is a smaller screened version of the latest tech. If it's just an upgrade from the current smaller phone - I imagine most will opt to upgrade to the 6S/iPhone 7
What did the iPhone 5S cost in Europe in 2013... and what does an iPhone 6S cost in Europe today? That might be the case but doesn't matter to what I said earlier, new iPhones (6S-6S Plus) are just too expensive in Europe.
Not sure what we can read into this. For some people if their phone is good enough they may not see a need to upgrade. I'm highly skeptical 1/3 if the iPhone install base hasn't upgraded because the screen sizes are too big. Some yes. But not 1/3.
I bet all those users are like that. Apple is GOING DOWN: Nobody *wants a 4 inch phone. Especially I know for a fact that there are LARGER phones that are going to be cheaper than this. Lets guess the price! $300????????? ****.THAT.****.I still have my iPhone 5s, but not by choice. I should be using the 6s Plus by now.
You've been around long enough to know that people around here change the narrative to suit their needs/commentsSo the 5 and 5S weren't too expensive but the 6S is?
A lot of people are using hand-me-down iPhones, and there aren't that many people (yet) handing down the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+. These aren't likely to upgrade from their used 5S to a new 5SE. They'll wait until someone in their circle upgrades to the iPhone 7 or 7+, and they'll get the used iPhone 6 or 6+ as their "new" phone. The iPhone is used by a wide variety of ages... I suspect that the older crowd, the ones who may not feel compelled to upgrade as often, are using the older phones with the smaller screens.
What did the iPhone 5S cost in Europe in 2013... and what does an iPhone 6S cost in Europe today?
I'm not sure what is going on with currency exchange in other countries... but Apple, themselves, did not change the price.
The iPhone 5S was $650 when new... and the new 6S is $650 today.
Are you suggesting that Apple is deliberately screwing Europe?
Bezels are Apple's biggest issue in regards to size. I remember getting my 2014 Moto X last February and comparing it to the size of my iPhone 6. The 5.2" Moto X fits in an almost identical footprint as the 4.7" iPhone, yet has .5" of extra display real estate. Same could be said for the Nexus 6 vs the 6 Plus. There is a .5" larger screen on the Nexus, yet it still fits in nearly the exact same footprint as the 6 Plus. They don't need a 4" phone. What they need is smaller bezels. My 5.2" droid turbo is the same size as my wifes 4.7" iPhone 6. Apple could get a 4.7" screen in the size of the iPhone 5s if they wanted to.

I agree. With 2-year contracts quickly coming to an end, I don't foresee myself getting the iPhone 7. Currently on a 6.Maybe the price is a reason lots of people still use 4" iPhones, Apple's iPhone 6(s)-(Plus) are just too expensive, I certainly will not buy a 6-6S nor a Plus even though I can easily afford them.
