Let's not forget the aluminum unibody case. I'd assign at least $50 value to it.
The current MacBook has an LED LCD display so it'd be a step back if the new one didn't have one. Overall, very predictable update. Incoming UK price rise to £849 too of course.
What's a viable alternative at this price range?
It is interesting to see all of these releases of information. If the products were made in the USA and someone was on an NDA, then Apple would have significantly more actionable consequences against said individuals. Since the manufacturing takes place in countries that do not have the same laws for intellectual property as the USA, then Apple must deal with this.
Food for thought???
Yeah I would expect the same but with the exchange rate and tax blah blah blah we might see it sneak under to £799
Come Apple! Get over 5400 RPM HDD's, I mean really, and 2GB of RAM
, it's a pass

The MBP went up in price with its recent update so unless the US price goes down, the only way for it to go here in the UK is up.
Well Im hoping it might go down education season is about to land and this is the time were its gets busy with education institutes and students start to buy. Im hoping for lower prices but Im just wishing and hoping.

The Mac Mini and the MacBook Air are next in line for the 320M.
They couldn't stop the damn hammering for 5 min while they filmed this video?

Nope. Apple will likely use Clarkdale CPU's for the 21.5 iMacs which come with Intel's IGP. I'm expecting Apple to use the ATI Radeon 54XX for the entry level iMac.And the entry level 21" iMac..?![]()
Based on reseller reports, we expect the new MacBook could ship as early as next week.
I think this company steals them. They go to the Apple Sweatshop and steal them. How else are they getting ahold of this stuff.

Did the form factor look a little bit different than the current MacBook?
It looked a little more rounded, to me.
*** Edit ***
Looking at the current MacBook on the Apple website, it looks the same. I guess it is just my OLDER MacBook that looks a bit more square.
Some people prefer the look and feel of the white MacBook's(which also have a unibody enclosure) so I didn't really think it was worth mentioning.
