MobileMe Syncing?

With the first 3.0 beta, I was having all sorts of problems with MobileMe syncing. Bookmarks never synced. Calendars rarely synced. Address book created multiple instances of duplicate entries. Does anyone know if that has been fixed with this release?

Can someone tell me if facebook is now working in the new beta, n pictures would be displayed, also can you go into photos and now move them as this was another bug..BY MOVE i mean zoom in with pinch/zoom and then use the hand to scroll the pic)

Used to get full 5 bars of ATT 3G at my house but after updating to beta 2 I barely get 3 bars of Edge. Lame!

On the plus side, the OS is completely usable and I plan on keeping it. I have WiFi here at home so the 3G thing isn't much of a problem. I'm hoping it doesn't act up around the city.

That's so weird because before beta 2 I got 0 bars in my house, even with 2.2. But now with Beta 2 I am getting 3 bars of 3g. how is that even possible?

Yes to both. Facebook is working, and the photos app is back to normal.

Really happy with the new beta, and seems to fix all the issues I'd had with the first version.

iPod App not running in background anymore

My iPod App does not run in the background anymore after installing Beta 2 (cannot remember checking this with Beta 1) Does anybody else have this problem?

Update: Nevermind - reboot sorted it out.

My thinking is that games and utilities made in Flash on the Internet are available for free. The same things in the App Store usually cost money. Who are we to say that Apple isn't just protecting their developers?

yea i had the same issue...

yea a reboot fixes it, but try playing a video for a bit, then play some music and hit the home button... same bug

flash is not used only for ads on the web, there's plenty of other useful stuff.

Like? Look how crappy Flash still is on home Macs. It still consumes insane resources and lags out Safari AND Firefox on an 8core Mac Pro.

Do you want Flash ads loading on every site you visit? Or are you going to turn Flash on and off every time you go to sites you want it to be on?

From Beta 2:

- Searching in Mail in landscape lays out differently now.
- Spotlight now displays a "No Results" message if it doesn't find anything.
- Safari text fields now show you where your cursor is and you can also copy and paste within them.
- Icons dim instantly when you tap them now.
- Safari: Landscape bookmarks now appear correctly.
- Safari: Hasn't gotten stuck on portrait for me yet.

The purpose of Flash conflicts with the purpose of the App Store. Apple won't be the ones to release it if it comes out.

I don't think most folks would choose flash apps over native ones any more than they flocked to iphone web apps (which they didn't). Also, if it such an App store killer, then Apple would need to embrace it to head off competitors, best done by working with Adobe to have a first-class Flash implementation for iPhone.
