Why???

I want that galaxy 3DS! I hope they make a faceplate version for the regular model.

Still surprised they haven't done anything like classic style face plates or designs based off their classic franchises (aside from Super Mario Bros, Yoshi, and Zelda). Or maybe I just haven't seen any.

YES!

The new 3DS game releases for the rest of this year into 2017:

OMG - Pikmin 3DS!!!

http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/09/01/new-pikmin-game-announced-for-3ds

(breathe, must remember to breathe)

Don't forget (after you catch your breath) Yoshi's Woolly World, with Poochy! I'm looking forward to that (now, if I would just unwrap my Wii U version and actually play it...).

There are concerns the games will be more limited on the 3DS, like what we have heard for Mario Maker...I still think it is quite an achievement to get games like this onto a handheld.

I still haven't purchased a new 3DS yet (I have two 3DS XL's). I'm a weirdo, I always buy the current hardware, but play the last gen games on them...Especially with the NX supposedly coming out in 2017, if it is supposed to also be a portable, and I've waited this long...I can wait a bit longer.

Not to mention the Poochy Amiibo and combo game/Amiibo package!

Poor Wii U - the games are being ported over to the 3DS...

I love 3D and my New 3DS XL - the screens and facetracking are awesome!

(okay, I admit it - I run YouTube and watch Halo and the like games on the top screen and pretend to be playing it in 3D on the 3DS XL with the map on the bottom...) :)

I can't believe my boo face plate for my new 3DS is worth $200+... yikes.
Wow, yeah! I thought maybe some of my rarer ones would be expensive, like the Smash Bros Ambassador one or some of the Zelda ones. But nope! Congrats. You going to keep it?

Yeah it's sadly attached to my 3DS opened. I only paid £19.80 for it ($30) when I pre ordered it from Japan

I *almost* imported that one but I went with the Pokemon OR/AS one instead. I mean, I prefer I'd also love a £200 one :D
My only rare gadget is a Famicom edition Gameboy Micro. Bought it for half the price it should have been so I was prepared to get into a big eBay fight, but it's faultless. Would never sell it though.

Honestly I was blown away by that announcement. I mean - to the regular public its just a Mario game on the go, but the tools to make it are really resource heavy. And that the only features removed from the Wii U are the costumes and internet sharing! I use Streetpass a lot so I'm definitely going to get the 3DS version.

It was obvious we'd get a 3DS version of Mario Maker at some point but I imagined it'd be for handheld Mario titles with Mario Land 1, 2, New Mario at least.

Lovely, I wanted the retro Pokemon sprite one. I was in Tokyo a while back and wanted to scope one from the Mega Pokemon Centre but they didn't have it.

I had to look up what this is...

Does it "Glow In The Dark"?

I wish the New 3DS XL had replaceable faceplates... :(

Yes it does :) I thought it was really cool when it was announced and I didn't expect it to go up in price that much :S
