See, the problem is people going into a rage thinking this is the successor to iPad Air 2. It isn't. It's an iPad Pro, and it is much more than just the doubling of storage - you are getting 4GB of RAM, 4 speakers, pencil support, a better display, a smart connector, A9X chip, and better camera. When has a regular update to iPad included so much? The answer is never. It is completely reasonable to charge more for this device. It's not an "Air 3" with just 32GB of base storage, better camera, and A9 chip - THAT would be the device to expect to be priced at the same $499 entry price that everyone here is bitching about.
