THANK YOU to Apple for listening to our concerns and validating that this is a real issue!

So happy with my iPhone 5 now! :D

Multitasking is laggy for me on iPhone 5 and after launching an app from the multitasking switcher there is a weird flicker around the edge of the screen. Reduce motion and assistive touch are on.

What are you guys talking about? The animation speeds are exactly the same as before. The only thing that changed is the crossfade option (reduce motion).

So, they basically give you 2 options:
1) Laggy animations
2) No animations at all?

Thats what Im getting from seeing the video (my IP5 says up to date 7.0.2)

Thats BS! I like the animations, but NOT the dang FPS slow down, nor the speed.

How is the screen rotation? Still crap?

For me. It's the unlock that is hugely improved....more so then the animations when closing/opening apps.

I actually liked the animations, but turning them off does make everything feel a lot faster.

I'll probably leave them off and forget they ever existed. The extra battery life will just be a bonus (from turning off Parallax).

I'm glad Apple listened to me.

I was pretty much the very first person to report this major problem to Apple by sending in the two videos that I posted on YouTube months ago. Even got a reply from the engineering team.

Laggy? Not on my 4S or iPad mini, just long animation. The new reduced animations are a huge improvement.

Animations feel faster now, and without the "adjusting" glitch after you close an app. Good update.

The wallpaper animation is SLIGHTLY better. Don't be fooled by the "setting wallpaper" which is an on screen prompt while waiting.

My keyboard lag has completely disappeared on my iPad 2. Anyone else notice a positive change wrt keyboard lag?

I find the new animations or lack of, kind of jarring. Now it feels like the phone is almost glitching out instead of fading out smoothly. I dunno maybe it's just me. I'm so used to the music app rebooting my phone when I see the fade out animation start I feel like my phone is about to reboot/respring. I guess it's going to take a day or two for me to get used to the fade out.

Is this with animations on or off? Can't say that I'm seeing any of this.

Animations are off. I dont notice it every time but when i do it happens while i am scrolling or when i have my thumb laid down about to scroll and then the scroll will start vibrating.
