Thanks for posting this! These pictures single-handedly pushed me over the edge to buy the brown case. I've been going back and forth between this and the black case, but the brown one looks really sharp with the white iPhone.
The color may look slightly more green on our site, but it's much better looking in person. It isn't truly yellow, but it looks outstanding in person. Really compliments the black screen of the iPhone.
So far so good. I chose black since what it wears it should be trivial to clean up with some black leather dye / conditioner or if all else fails shoe polish.
Amen brother. I chose black because...I just love black.
I also thought it would be the easiest to clean. Shouldn't show much wear with jeans, since I'm not into skinny jeans. They don't work well when you're an Italian dude with some junk in the trunk...At least the ladies dig it
I digress... Black all the way!
Just got the black leather for my silver/white 5S. It looks great. Debated getting a cheaper Amazon case, but I am glad I picked up the official case. Its great.
Leather wear....
Many people commenting about the wear on the leather, and even returning the case because of it! It's leather folks, and leather shows wear. Ever seen a baseball glove after some use? The wear shows character and tells a story. If you want a case that stays new looking, I would not buy a leather case...Apple brand or any other. Get a plastic or silicon type case. Some of them may look very cool over time, like that old ratty pair of jeans...which you actually pay more for nowadays! Enjoy your cases...I actually ended up with the red and brown, and think I want the lime and black too for my Gold 64!

If you file the edges a little bit on the amazon lightning cable it'll fit. It's not perfect but I'd rather use a black cable in my car, the white cable is too flashy for car use.
Shoe polish folks. For traditional colors that is: black, brown, beige, etc.

Thank you. I've been looking for better real-world images or reviews of the yellow case all week. I really should just get to the store and look soon. I just don't yet have the phone to out it on to so I haven't rushed.
I picked up the black case with my 5S on launch day. So far, the case has held up well and seems to be a nice tight fit on the phone. One of my friends went with the red but within a few days of normal use, the color changed and looked very worn.. So she returned it. I do have a few minor complains with my case. For one, I wish it worked with Apples iPhone 5S dock. I even tried a belkin dock which claimed that it worked with phones that have cases on them, but that needed a somewhat open bottom on the phone. My other complaint was that sometimes dirt and whatnot can easily get between the lip of the case and the side of the phone. I found that using compressed air to clean it out works fairly well. Overall I'd recommend the case, but just be aware that certain colors may not hold up as well with everyday use.

Not sure if they are any good, but there's plenty of black lightening cables on eBay.
Only the apple ones fit (ive tried loads of 3rd party black ones - none fitted).
What I did - use the white apple one, get some heatshrink in black and heatshrink around it. Perfect!
don't know about you guys, but I like to keep mine safe. At least for the first months

I have the same wallet. Took the "iPhone 5 + case option" Do you use it in combination with the Apple case? Does it fit?
FYI, Monoprice 3ft black Lightning to USB cables fit the Apple Leather Case with ease and work fine with iOS 7 and iPhone 5s. I also have a 6ft white cable from them that fits the leather case too.
I just shaved the edges off my Amazon cable with a sharp craft knife and it fits now.
Fits the Iphone 5..... perfect. Using one atm, the red one.

I've had the red one for a week now.
Its a perfect fit for my iphone 5, its a very good tight fit, as you will need effort to get it out. I
it does not feel like leather, it feels more like expansive rubber.
As with any light coloured leather, it will pick up dirt and wear. If you want a case that will not change colour, do not buy this one. This one will quite quickly show wear and discolouration. If you do not mind the look of worn leather, its going to work for you. If you go black, your good in regards to wear and stains, my red one has a few dark patches. I like it though causes I expected it to wear... though maybe not this quickly. Be warned.
I have not tried cleaning it yet.

If anyone else with a yellow case would like to post some images, that would be great. It would be nice to have multiple real-world shots of all color combinations, and shots of the yellow seem kind of sparse.

Does anyone/everyone have a slight gap on the right edge? Worried mine will get bigger or catch dust or dirt...
