Where are you getting them from? Is the rear of them sticky or what not and easy to remove without messing up the case?

These are basically decals that can be set into the embossed apple logo on the case. FWIW, I tried a woodgrain one on my black leather case but didn't care for it. But that's just me. Others like them. These decals are cheap enough to get and at least try them out.

Spoke to soon the brown is going back, has a real stiff power button compared to the black, the volume buttons didn't feels as soft either, was also tighter for getting phone out.
Guess there is differences in these cases. Sticking to my black one now.

Simple solution. Use a small blunt tool and push from the inside and outside. Not too hard but enough. If you do this a few times before putting on the case it fixes all cases that are stiff. I saw this trick somewhere and worked for both my cases. The more time you take the more responsive the buttons become.

I actually put on my black case a brushed metal decal from ********** it looked pretty smart. My favourite though is a retro apple logo, gives a nice bit of colour to the case. Another good one is a white carbon fibre logo again gives a nice contrast with the white on black.

I also have a black case and gotta say, the black does not show any wear & tear around the edges at all...!!!

I also tried putting an Apple logo on the back however, the logo which I bought (think it was from eBay) was ever so slightly just larger than the embossed logo on the back of the case so that the sticker was just a little too big and you could feel the edges of it flapping around...!!

I wonder if I bought a sold logo, like a brushed effect logo, whether it would fit better....?!

Can someone post up some pics of their logos on the back...?!

.....woah!!! That looks quite nice!!!

Might just have to get me one of them....!!!

Yea i think u should lol! they r good quality, i took the retro one off for a bit to use the white one and have since re-applied the retro one and it has gone on fine, i was worried that perhaps it wouldn't stick but it's perfect. The site i used does ship to the UK and it was pretty quick delivery too. You can choose 3 decals in your order which is nice too so you have a few to choose from.

I think Apple needs to re-evaluate the leather they use. I've had my brown one for about 4 months. Bought it a week or so after they first showed up in stores. I had hoped it would turn a deep brown like the Coach case I gave to my mom. It didn't. It's definitely darker but just looks dirty it's not a good look. For a company so concerned about image this is not something you want being seen by the world. The case quality is actually really good. It's just the leather type that needs work.

I have the black one, but if I had the brown I'd take some good leather conditioner to the case to see what happens.

That should darken the leather some, which might create a better patina. Maybe not great, but better.

I'm reading that Kiwi shoe polish will protect the leather, but not darken it, which wouldn't help with the look.

Any dock/stand/speaker/alarm that charges iphone in this case? Everdock is not what I really want. Thanks

expensive and not that good looking.

Expensive - Yes thats a fact (although it can be subjective depending how much money you make/have)

not that good looking - purely an opinion - I personally think its a very nice elegant looking case. I'm not a big fan of covering up the beautiful iPhone but whenever I do its with this case.

I picked an official apple leather case in beige still sealed from eBay for cheap, arrived today and loving it so far can't complain for £13.80! Also got AppleCare for my phone too.

i will go with a flip design with cutouts to show time and caller ID. Protective and functional.

Yesterday I went to to the apple store to switch out my leather red case and buy a brown one as well as a tech21 impact mesh. I treated the cases with a leather protector, made a few weird splotches, but I think it's fixable. Let's see how the colors hold up.

Im not sure if i should buy the Brown one for my gold iPhone 5s or the black leather case just because it wouldn't get dirty.

Get the black one - I've had a black one for months now and it still looks good as new. The black colour does not show any wear and tear and the colour will not fade around the corners and edges like all the other colours do !!

Have a black leather case and want to buy a black charging cable. Will monoprice cable fit? If not which one is recommended?
